He studied jurisprudence, interpretation, hadith, principles, and language under the greatest scholars inside and outside Sudan, so he used to roam the country and roam the horizons in seeking knowledge with great energy and unyielding determination.
And for the sake of his sheikhs with whom he met and accompanied them for long years, His Eminence, the Imam, the Knower of God, the Most High, Sheikh Yusuf, and Debqawi al-Tijani, may God be pleased with him, he became a student of him in everything, and he read to him the apparent knowledge and the indications of the inner knowledge, and he learned from him a valid collection of the sciences of jurisprudence, interpretation and hadith, and Sheikh Yusuf approved it. Dabaqi, may God be pleased with him, released him and authorized him in education and guidance.
And he took the Tijani method at the beginning of his command in Makkah Al-Mukarramah from Sheikh Al-Hujjah, the scholar, the Qutb, the investigator, Sidi Muhammad Al-Hafiz bin Abdul-Latif bin Salem Al-Tijani, who accompanied him for a long time, benefited from it, and gave it a high approval.
He is now one of the great banner bearers of the Tijaniyya order, its defenders, and he has complete knowledge of its facts, principles, and rules. The method has spread greatly through his hand inside and outside Sudan.
