The reciter Idris bin Muhammad Abkar is one of the reciters of the Noble Qur’an. He was born in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in 1395 AH corresponding to 1975 AD. He is the imam of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Emirates. He is also the mother of many mosques in Saudi Arabia. Growing up and learning: He studied the Holy Qur’an since his childhood, where he began his first stages at Al-Tawheed Mosque when he was not more than eight years old. He also studied at the hands of many teachers and sheikhs, including:

Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qarni.
Sheikh Odeh Al Dhaheri.
Sheikh Adel Al-Ahmadi.
