Ever get a show recommendation from a friend and couldn't remember what it was when you sat down to watch something? Do you have a list of movies in your Notes app and can't recall who made the suggestions? Do you feel overwhelmed with all the options on your streaming services? Have you ever forgotten what you were watching 3 months ago? We have! So, we made this app to solve these problems and it's been really fun to use.
CliqRex is a free app that gives you REAL recommendations from those you trust the most, your friends. At the heart of this fun, cheeky, and social app are people-powered recommendations for TV shows, movies, podcasts, and books. Discover, share, and save recommendations, or REX, from your trusted community of friends, or CLIQ.
Our app is not for doom-scrolling, but rather it's a quick tool to empower your choice-making and strengthen your connection with friends.

Here's some of what makes CliqRex click:
My Cliq - Create a micro-social network of friends and family who will provide you with recommendations. Search for friends and add them to your Cliq. Or, share your profile and your friends can add you to theirs.
The Rex - Discover recommendations from your Cliq. Rate and comment to make the Rex even mightier for your friends! Save items to folders and set the status to In Progress, Up Next, Dropped, or Finished. This simple tool helps you remember "what was I watching, reading, or listening to last month?" or "what did I want to read next?"
My Stuff - Find all of your saved items organized in folders instead of in your Notes app. Folders are a great way to store and organize your shows into personalized categories; Reading List, Listen in Car, Watch with Family, etc… You can even make a collaborative folder with a friend. Find what you have Up Next, In Progress, Dropped, or Finished in pre-made folders.
Connect - Are you and a friend currently binging the same show? Find them in Connect! A few of you just finished the same book? Start a chat with them in the app. Did you and a friend both lose interest in the same movie? Commiserate together.
Affinity - See how closely aligned your tastes are with your friends and possibly make new friends based on our patent-pending Affinity Engine.
