With "Bokus Reader" for Android, you can read e-books and listen to digital audiobooks directly on your Android phone or tablet/tablet.
The app contains:
- E-book reader and audio book player for over two million titles by Swedish and international authors, both e-books and digital audio books. Purchases are made directly on Bokus.com, then you simply download them to the app.
- A library of books you can take with you everywhere, even when you're offline. Easily download your purchased books before your trip.
- Automatic sync of your reading, bookmarks and purchases across all your devices when you're online.
- A flexible e-book reader with the option to change the font and text size, three different reading modes and the option to set your own column, scrolling and margin settings. If you want to be really advanced, you can search the text in the book, you can have the e-book read automatically and you can change line spacing and much more.
- An easy-to-use audiobook player with sleep timer and adjustable reading speed.
- In the first release, you cannot open DRM-protected books. We are working on solving it smoothly in the next major release.
To buy e-books and audiobooks
You buy your digital books directly at Bokus.com. When you have found the book you are looking for, buying and downloading only takes a few minutes. The book can be downloaded directly to your tablet or mobile and you just have to start reading or listening.
Your purchased books can also be read on the computer or other e-book reader if you wish.
To buy digital books, you need a Bokus account. You can create the account directly in the app or on Bokus.com.
Your purchased books
Here you get a good overview of what you have bought and how far you have come in each book. Your books are saved in the app but also in our cloud service. You can sort your books by title, author, most recently purchased or most recently read, and you can filter on e-books and audiobooks as well as downloaded and started books.

With Bokus Reader, you have an entire library in your hand. You read what you want, when you want and where you want. You can also change the text so that the size suits you, you can choose different reading modes and fonts so that you always get an optimal reading experience.
Listening to digital audiobooks.
Listen to your favorite books and enjoy having a whole library of audiobooks in your pocket. Listen when and where you want. You can freely jump back and forth between the different parts of the book, you can increase or decrease the speed of the reading and you can set a sleep timer so that the book does not continue to finish playing in case you fall asleep from it.
