I specifically loved this game because it was a non-microtransaction filled version of this game concept that was simple and worked. The update now in December 2023 adds battlepass style unlocks, many consumable items you can use, a limited lives system, an extensive shop where you can buy all these. All things I don't need and don't want. I guess I'll have to keep looking somewhere else. (PS: holedown is a good recommendation, although it doesn't have a good endless mode)
New update has fundamentally changed the gameplay in a way that does not improve the experience. This is a worse game than it was before, and I struggle to enjoy it in its current iteration. It's clear the support team also has no interest in addressing the valid criticism from long-term players. They just want us to make do with a with a inferior product to the one we originally paid for. I, for one, would like access to a legacy version so that I could play the game I loved for 9+ years.
Absolutely loved this game until the update. I played this quite literally everyday for several years, now it's terrible. IF ITS NOT BROKEN DONT FIX IT. It was a nice mindless game and the new interface is not at all like the old one. I don't like the new bricks or new stuff going on. I now also have to use 'lives' to play each game if I lose? Are you kidding me? Please bring it back to the old interface. The new one does not live up.
