In traditional markets, market makers play a crucial role in providing liquidity. However, at ArithFi, we use the SCP model, where smart contracts act as counterparties. This means when you trade, you're essentially trading with the system, not traditional market makers. We don't use conventional stablecoins but our own ATF token instead. Smart contracts provide liquidity by minting and burning ATF tokens, ensuring settlement needs are met regardless of market fluctuations, thus offering theoretically infinite liquidity without market makers. This not only reduces transaction costs but also eliminates the risk of market manipulation, offering a fairer, more transparent trading environment.
