ArchiDex is more than an application, it's your best tool for visiting a city while playing. Receive your Archidex and start filling it by capturing all the buildings scattered around you. You will discover anecdotes, the history of the places, to see and understand the buildings.
It has never been easier to visit a city, no more need for a heavy book in your bag, or endless research to plan your outings. ArchiDex turns the city into a playground, an open-air museum, and you into an explorer. If you didn't know what to do this weekend, ArchiDex will take you on an adventure for several hours for free.
CAPTURING THE ARCHITECTURE
How to capture a building? Accesses the map which brings together all the available architectures. Activate your geolocation and go in front of the building. The application calculates live the distance that separates you from him. Once within a 100m radius capture is possible! Grab it to fill out your ArchiDex. Now you have access to a complete description of the architecture and its architect.
EXPLORE BY THEMATIC
Archidex is your adventure. You choose to lead it in complete freedom. You can explore your city through different themes:
- Neighborhood and districts: by geographical area
- Architectural Styles: learn the history of art in relation to architecture
- Themes: monuments, parks, churches, and many others
- Architects: focus on the production of an architect
- Walks: follow a route to walk and discover buildings
- Current events: all exhibitions currently taking place
STATISTICS AND RANKING
Your ArchiDex stores all the buildings you have captured. Your profile statistics show you your level, the number of kilometers traveled, your style and your favorite architect. A map shows you the districts you have visited the most. Finally, a ranking tells you your position compared to all the players in the world of ArchiDex.
EXPERIENCE THE ADVENTURE IN MULTIPLAYER
The Live page shows you live all the buildings that are captured by players around the world. You can see your position in the leaderboard and share your comments on each building. You can also follow your friends to see the latest architectures they captured and their position in the leaderboard.
My name is Thomas Lhomme, I am the founder of ArchiDex. Welcome to this unique experience. I developed this game alone out of passion, however I have no training in coding, I am a student architect. So have fun with this Beta version and give me as much feedback as possible to improve this project.
