AppPilot Description
AppPilot is an application management and analytics software that offers the following features:
1. Detailed reports on installed applications
2. Permissions analysis reports
3. Backup and restore functionality for application lists
Its purpose is to give you a deeper understanding of how applications are utilized on your phone, assisting in protecting your data security.
We require the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission to ensure the completeness of the list of installed applications.
The application report includes:
- Application name and version details
- Target and minimum Android version
- Application size
- Installation and update dates
- List of permissions in use
- List of activities with launch options
- Installation path
- Data storage path
- APK address
- Quick launch entries for the provider, a link to view on Google Play, and a shortcut to system settings
In the application report page, in addition to viewing the relevant information of the application, you can also do the following to the current application:
1. Open the current application
2. Jump to the system settings to view the details of the current application
3. Jump to Google Play to view the current application
Permissions analysis report:
- Lists the common permissions requested by applications on your device, such as Camera, Audio, SMS, Contacts, CallLog, Storage, Location, Wifi, Bluetooth, Internet, NFC, etc.
- Identifies the most frequently used permissions and the applications that request them
- If you believe an application has unnecessary permissions or you're concerned it might be compromising your sensitive information, you can directly access the system settings page for that application to disable permissions or even uninstall it
Backup and Restore:
- Backs up the list of installed applications to device storage
- Allows you to find previously uninstalled applications from historical backup data and assists you in reinstalling them.
