Android Accessibility Suite Description
Android Accessibility Suite is a collection of accessibility apps that help you use your Android device eyes-free or with a switch device.

Android Accessibility Suite includes:
• Accessibility Menu: Use this large on-screen menu to lock your phone, control volume and brightness, take screenshots, and more.
• Select to Speak: Select items on your screen and hear them read aloud.
• TalkBack screen reader: Get spoken feedback, control your device with gestures, and type with the on-screen braille keyboard.

To get started:
1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Select Accessibility.
3. Select Accessibility Menu, Select to Speak, or TalkBack.
• For TalkBack, you can also press and hold both volume keys.

Android Accessibility Suite requires Android 6 (Android M) or later. To use TalkBack for Wear, you'll need Wear OS 3.0 or later.

Permissions Notice
• Phone: Android Accessibility Suite observes the phone state so it can adapt announcements to your call status.
• Accessibility Service: Because this app is an accessibility service, it can observe your actions, retrieve window content, and observe text that you type.
• Notifications: When you allow this permission, TalkBack can notify you about updates.

Note: Switch Access has been removed from the Android Accessibility Suite. You can download the Switch Access app instead (g.co/play/switchaccess).

Comments about Android Accessibility Suite Android Version
This has been a learning experience to use. I have had to exercise alot of patience to utilize this feature. I really feel like this is a very worthwhile function to have, and encourage anyone wanting it or needing to use this, to take the time to learn how to use it. I am currently trying this out for Kindle. I'm still in the practicing phase, but, I really want to be able to listen to my Kindle books that don't have audio or audio accompanyment.
Terrible. Lost all microphone, speech to text, and some map functions. I can no longerer take or make phone calls due to the microphone not working. The only time the microphone works in if I pen the android accessibility app and use it's search function. I still haven't figured out what all else I've lost or now doesn't work correctly anymore. This is the worst update I've ever experienced.
It's horrible, this and two or three other apps like it that have been thrown in welded in as stock app extras that can't be just plucked out and deleted gone like anything useless and wasting my time can normally be.. Because if this unnecessary governing of my preferences with stock app bloatwear that crashes my device every time I'm into something.. I'll have decided to root wipe and flash a whole new os and loose a ton of weight and put an end to all the poorly used potential ...lol
