Adobe Scout Description
The Adobe® Scout mobile app is for developers using Scout, the profiler and analysis tool from Adobe, now supported by HARMAN. Install Scout on your desktop, then run this app on your Android device to configure the connection from your Android AIR apps to the desktop running Scout.
Features:
• Instantly determine how your app is performing with zero code changes.
• Code sampler shows you where your app spends its time.
• Display list recording shows you what you rendered and how it performed.
• GPU recording lets you step through every draw call and rapidly debug and optimize your shaders.
To connect:
• Open Scout on your computer and ensure the preferences are set to "Make this computer discoverable by Scout Companion app"
• Open this Scout companion app: if your Android device is on the same network as the computer, it should discover the computer and allow you to select this. If not, select "Other" and enter the IP address of the computer.
• Once the connection is made, start up your AIR application on the Android device and the telemetry data should appear within Scout on the computer.
