Even if it worked properly, this app would be mediocre. At this price, they should have figured a way around a 90s robot voice. Also, when you finish a run, whether you completed all the miles or not, it counts all the miles in your weekly total. The worst part is that the GPS is horrible, resulting in an over count of distance and really optimistic paces. I was feeling really jazzed about my race goal - until I realized I have no idea what pace I'm actually running. Worse than a waste of 💰
Support is responsive but this app is not worth what they're charging. You can't manually enter in treadmill runs, or runs you don't want to take your phone on. If you have an Android, you can't connect to a Bluetooth treadmill as advertised. They've somehow decided to add a strength training diary feature before you can even manually log a run, for an app called Runna. It's also touchy- if my screen isn't unlocked and open to the app for it to start recording a run, the run won't record.
The pacing feature is really annoying. I love the voice reminders but you cant adjust sampling rate of pace reminders. Running 1.6 mi? you'll get a reminder every 30 sec. Running .2 mi? You'll still get a pace reminder every 30 sec. The slower you go, the more inaccurate it is because it's using time sampling not distance for reminders. The reminders also don't have a slider for pace accuracy and will remind you even if you're like 00:10/mi off pace which is annoying when they're so inaccurate!
