Recent update is HORRIBLE. The old version was really helpful with some fixable flaws. The new version is HORRIBLE and a huge downgrade. No consideration has been provided in making it easy for blind person to navigate the app. The old version had an easy to use and intuitive (and a "talking") interface. This has all been thrown away. What a disappointment! (Note to designers: Blindfold yourself and try to use the app. If this isn't easy to do-then you have failed!) Any way to rollback?
Similar to Microsoft's Seeing AI, just for Android instead of iOS. 4 stars as it's missing some features, and I would appreciate more text display options. (Why get Atkinson Hyperlegible designed for visibility despite visual impairments only to not include it and other accessible fonts?)
I think the app will revolutionise accessibility to blind people at large. The delay in making some of the modes official is spoiling the fun about the app. It's a wonderful feeling to explore surroundings with Lookout assisted vision.
