Tides is a Maps&Navigation application developed by Charles Alan Wright, but with the best Android emulator-LDPlayer, you can download and play Tides on your computer.

Running Tides on your computer allows you to browse clearly on a large screen, and controlling the application with a mouse and keyboard is much faster than using touchscreen, all while never having to worry about device battery issues.

With multi-instance and synchronization features, you can even run multiple applications and accounts on your PC.

Introduction
This app displays the times and heights of high and low tides for 607 locations around the UK for the next 7 days. The data is retrieved over the Internet from The Admiralty. The amount of your data allowance used by this should be very small. Any tide information displayed is retained on the phone for 14 days to allow for offline access.

Location Selection
The location can be selected in three different ways.
- Select current location
Displays today's tides for the tide location nearest you.
- Choose location from a list
Displays a list of all locations for which tides are available in either
alphabetical order or in order of distance from the phone.
- Choose location from a map
Displays all tide locations on map of the U.K. and allows you to click on one.

Display
The next tide event (high or low tide) is shown in bold. Swipe left for the next day's tides or swipe right for the previous day's tides. For today's tides only, a message is displayed indicating whether the tide is currently coming in or going out. This is also reflected in the tides icon on the screen. Sunrise and sunset can optionally be shown. These are inserted into the tide events in chronological order.

Notifications
A notification can be sent a selected number of hours before high and/or low tide. This is configured in settings.

Location order (Nearest first or alphabetical)
Height units (Metres or feet and inches)
Show sunrise/sunset (On/of)
Location (Location for which low/height tide notifications are sent)
High tide (Send notifications for high tide (on/off))
Low tide (Send notifications for low tide (on/off))
Advance warning (today’s tides) (Select advance warning of tide events (1 – 24 hours))
