Caustic 3 is a brilliant app that was sadly abandoned several years ago with no signs of even a bug fix in sight. This would easily be a five-star review, if only the application kept up with the latest android versions. On android 11 devices, the back arrow is now missing with no way to access an sd card (this was previously accessible with the config file). This is a fatal flaw that heavily limits my use of the app and hobbles my workflow. Great app, but in serious need of an update.

excellent app. unlimited ways of creating new sounds from existing ones. for ppl who say you can only record for 10 or so seconds just havent learned enough about it. You can record up to 90 seconds, maybe more. i have recorded a whole song's worth of vocals in one take. you just have to save it and then load it up in the pcm and trim it to fit in the 8 bar loop(s) over the duration of the song.

Please update the app. This is without a doubt, the undisputed best mobile music creation software, ive been using it for 5 years now. But it is severely outdated, being quite buggy on Android 11, and completely broken on the newest Android version, refusing to even open before crashing immediately. I would hate to see this wonderful app go to waste like this, especially for the people who payed for it and can no longer use it like myself.
