Great app! just 1 problem. Payment. I'm not sure when this 1 dollar subscription started, but I find it a but annoying. As someone who struggles with dyslexia, reading stories is hard enough, but having a time limit makes it worse. I'd honestly prefer ads for more minutes or something like that, even if it only adds 10 minutes to my timer. Seriously, I love reading. But I don't want to pay a dollar a month for it, call me a cheapskate!
The App itself is good. There is plenty of customization like dark mode and managing your reading lists and keeping track of chapters read, etc. So why one star? Recently, I was reading through a story when suddenly the app is completely on lockdown because now you have to PAY money to keep reading! This change is not mentioned in the change log, and it's not a one-time fee, no, SUBSCRIPTION. you have to pay a month now all of a sudden or you get to do nothing. Very disingenuous. Sad.
Great, useful features; I love the To Read list (when not encountering errors) Would've liked a heads up on the 1 (one) hour reading limit. A single dollar to support you wouldn't have been that bad, that being said, as someone who still can't pay for Premium, that single-handedly makes the app unusable. Ads wouldn't have been so bad in place of this. I'll stick to using Ao3 via browser for now.
