Mudrock Introduction
Mudrock belongs to Kazdel as 6-star Juggernaut Defender. She depends on her talent to rotate Shield. Although Mudrock features "Cannot be healed by allies", she is used to stay on field, absorb consistent damage, and counter enemies. In addition, she boasts HP recovery, defence boost, and solo combat. Thanks to her strong survivablity, players can progress her to get through the early game who are lack of healer and under-developed.

Most Juggernaut Operators face issues with HP recovery and survivability. So, how does Mudrock solve this? In fact, her talents and skills are the absolute core of her survival, make her formiable Tank.
Talent 1：Ward of the Fertile Soil
Once deploying Mudrock, she instantly gains one Shiled. As time goes by, she will add extra Shield. One stack of Shield requires 9 seconds. It can stack up to a maximum of three times, that is absorbing 3 hits of damage. When Shiled is broken, restore 15% of Mudrock's max HP. Mudrock doesn't takes damage directly, while she regenerate Shiled to greatly relieve pressure. As a result, when facing high-pressure stage, she has a more outstanding performance than Defender who need healing.
Talent 2：Unshakable Solidarity
This is easy-to-understand Talent - Takes 30% less damage from Sarkaz enemies. It allows Mudrock to reduce damage taken and handle Sarkaz enemies with ease. Don't worry. There are many threatened Sarkaz enemies in Arknights. So, Mudrock becomes the first choice in these stages.
Skill 1 : DEF Up γ
Mudrock's first skill is simple like other Operators. Players need to manually activate this skill to increase DEF by 30%~100% (Depend on Rank). However, this simple skill with Unshakable Solidarity makes her unparalleled when facing Sarkaz enemies. Upon triggering DEF Up γ, her body will be surrounded by blue highlight.
Skill 2：Crag Splitter
A auto-trigger skill restores 5% of max HP, deals AoE damage to enemies on the ground, and executes 30% chances of stun. The designer creates an excellent and well-suited skill for Mudrock. It significantly enhances her survivability since this skill point increase for each hit, allowing her to clear up mobs and heal herself. To put it simply, the more hits she can take, the higher damage and more CC she can deliver.
Skill 3：Bloodline of Desecrated Earth
The Bloodline of Desecrated Earth is an interesting mechanics that has two stages. Mudrock is immobilized and immune to all damage for 10s at stage 1, while the enemies are slow down in range. Afterwards, she stuns the range of enemies and dealing devastating damage to them. Meanwhile, she improves ATK speed by 30%, increases DEF by 50% and blocks all enemies.
The power of this skill lies in that she is virtually unkillable once activating it even though she cannot be healed. She can also rely on the shield to maintain the tempo, making her an extremely stable CC Tank for high-pressure situations. Beware, you should know the timing to counter enemies.
Note: Prioritize Skill 2 to bring CC and AoE damage to enemies (Elite 3 is the best). The progression of Skill 1 and 3 offers a minor boost, but Skill 1 takes precedence over Skill3.
Mudrock Module X or Y
Whether players want to choose X Module or her Y Module is a complicated question. Before selecting module, you ought to carefully consider her responsibility in your squad. Because her module are categorized into two parts for different usage. One makes her a tank, another one makes her a bruiser.
UNY–X：Spreading Roots of Soil and Stone
UNY-X is suitable for players who are relatively conservative and use Mudrock for solo blocking and high-pressure maps. This is especially reccomended if you lack an excellent Defender and need main Tank, because it improves survivability and ensures stable skill cycle.

- Increase ATK & DEF when there are no allies in the surrounding 8 tiles
- Increased Damage to Non-Sarkaz enemies
- Takes 33% less damage from Sarkaz enemies

- Best synergy for Skill 3
Team Comps Recommendation
Mudrock doesn't receive healing, so her team comps differs from conventional Defenders. She shines when teammates help her control the battlefield and maintain a stable combat rhythm.
Crowd Control Team
Mudrock + Suzuran + Angelina + Magallan + Eyjafjalla
These operators limit enemy in Mudrock’s attack range. This gives Mudrock’s Skill 2/3 AoE hits and stuns more consistency, allowing her to cycle her shields comfortably and suppress waves with minimal risk. This setup requires Mudrock's X module for higher defence.
Damage Dealer Team
Mudrock + Surtr + Surtr Alter + Chen + Mountain + Gavial the Invincible
Mudrock handles mitigation, control, and tempo management. When she locks enemies in place or slows down their approach, DPS units can burst targets more efficiently and safely.
