After using the app for about a month here's my feedback. It's an alright app. The streaming content is low in resolution, playback is smooth but I doubt it's full HD. Ads are not a problem except for if I'm using tubi in picture-in-picture mode. Playback freezes the ad won't play and if you leave PIP mode the ad will glitch causing the whole episode to reboot. Also, frequently I will have started an episode of something, leave, return later on for the app to have amnesia, losing my place.
I live it, however if you pause and or leave to answer something, when you return it keeps the picture on landscape and doesn't reformat to the screen. You have to completely exit out the app, make sure it's not on In the background and reopen tubi, to get the film to fit the screen. So annoying, it's not an issue on Pluto Freevee or other streaming services.
I love the variety of shows. But about one time in 20 the app hangs 59 seconds into a 60 second ad break. This forces you to restart the app, and you have to watch another 60 seconds of ads. it has gotten worse recently. sometimes it now gets into a life where the wait spinner appears during the ads. the wait spinner NEVER goes away on its own. most of the time, closing the app and restarting now plays one add and the wait spinner comes back. even restarting Android doesn't work.
