I just canceled my subscription. This application works okay. I use it to scan and create MusicXML files. Most printed scores create many errors. Time-consuming to fix. My phone's camera is one of the best on the market. Subscription price is not a good value. It can't be put in family subscriptions. $40 a year is more than it's worth to us. $40 a year is almost a Disney+ subscription. This is a tiny little app that gets used once every other month. I wander what they consider a good camera.
This app is amazing! It really comes in handy when I am struggling with difficult pieces and I cannot find a recording online. The process is really quick, and on top of that, the app is free and there are no ads. It's not perfect, because sometimes it misses dynamic markings or accidentals, but it definitely helps you get a feel for the music. Highly recommend!
if the note is a sixteenth note or has any double bar lines forget it. took a million pictures of a million different lightings and angles (with a brand new phone with a very HD camera) and it would either say "no music found" or play the wrong thing. not worth your time! no problems with the picture, full page, normal font, studio lighting.
