Khora

Khora traps groups of enemies inside a large chain dome called Strangledome, slowly killing them. With the Pilfering Strangledome mod, each enemy that dies drops extra loot like resources or credits.

Her pet Venari can attack enemies or heal you, and Whipclaw smacks enemies with a whip, chaining damage to nearby foes.

Khora is an S-Tier because her dome can auto-farm endlessly while you relax. For beginners, focus on mods that increase range like Stretch and power like Transient Fortitude. Use a gun that applies Viral status, and get energy from Hunter Adrenaline.

Nekros

Nekros uses Desecrate, a wave over dead bodies that gives each corpse a chance to drop extra loot such as resources, ammo, or health orbs. Terrify makes enemies run and strips some armor, and Shadows of the Dead summons ghost minions to fight for you.

He is a top tier because he doubles loot easily without needing traps, and works anywhere with corpses.

Beginner builds should max range on Desecrate with Stretch and Augur mods, use Equilibrium to convert health to energy, and run with a squad so others kill faster.

Hydroid

Hydroid can turn into a puddle with Undertow or summon tentacles with Tentacle Swarm to grab enemies. With Pilfering Swarm, any enemies killed by tentacles drop extra loot. Barrage rains damage from above, and Surge slides you through enemies to knock them around.

Hydroid is great for mobile farming, as you can move the puddle or tentacles to follow action.

Beginners should focus on corrosive damage mods and max range, use a controller for speed, and get energy from the Madurai focus school.

Saryn spreads Spores from a single marked enemy until the whole room is coated in Viral damage that eats away at health. Molt leaves behind a decoy to pull heat off you, and Toxic Lash boosts the power of your melee or guns.

She’s placed in A-Tier because those Spores chain across crowds nonstop. A starter build focuses on huge range with mods like multiple Stretches and uses Viral weapons to kickstart the spreading.

Revenant

Revenant wraps himself in Mesmer Skin, turning incoming hits into harmless impacts while also reflecting damage back. Reave lets you dash through enemies for healing and armor strip, and Danse Macabre fires spinning lasers that wipe rooms.

His A-Tier placement comes from how hard he is to kill which is perfect for solo Steel Path when you’re still learning. A beginner build uses shield-gating mods like Brief Respite and aims for high duration.

Wisp

Wisp drops motes that give you and your squad boosts like faster movement, electric crit shocks, and steady health regen, and you can keep these buffs rolling by jumping. Breach Surge adds a teleport and blinds enemies on impact.

She earns her A-Tier spot because her buffs make the entire squad stronger and quicker. A beginner setup pairs well with Zenurik for energy, and many players replace an ability with Roar for more damage.

Nezha

Nezha casts Thermal Sunder to freeze or boil entire rooms with quick chained pulses. Blazing Chakram strips armor and heals you on hit, while Warding Halo blocks incoming damage from the front.

He’s A-Tier because Sunder wipes tiles extremely fast. Beginner players usually slot in Thermal Sunder through Helminth for easier clearing and use Madurai to keep up speed and flow.

Mesa

Mesa’s Peacemaker locks onto targets and unleashes a constant stream of pistol shots with perfect aim and endless ammo. Shatter Shield protects you by deflecting bullets around your body.

She sits comfortably in A-Tier because you can stand your ground, activate Peacemaker, and watch enemies disappear. A starter setup mixes in Pacifism Defect for energy and focuses on good Shatter Shield duration.

Nokko

Nokko places mushrooms that spread Viral and Heat damage in long chains across rooms while keeping you healed. Her sleep bombs lock down crowds, and she becomes nearly unkillable as long as her mushrooms remain active. She’s A-Tier because the mushrooms deal huge sustained damage while keeping you alive. Volt

Volt boosts movement and attack speed with his Speed skill, and Discharge sends out a surge that microwaves anything wrapped in shields. Shock jumps between enemies to stun them.

Volt belongs to this A ranking because of fast clearing, strong nuking, and his reliable shield durability. A simple starting build runs maximum range on Discharge and keeps Speed ready for the team.
