Get Started with Chibi Adventure

When you first jump into the Trickcal: Chibi Go adventure, it begins with a story-driven mode structured around chapter-based stages that you need to complete. Your Trickcal: Chibi Go gameplay revolves around these stages, and you must clear each one to advance to the next. In each stage, you'll face waves of monster creatures that need to be defeated, and you can earn up to three stars for clearing all the waves in a chapter. You can assemble an army using your cute characters to tackle these waves.

Chibi Characters: Cute Animations

The heart of Trickcal: Chibi Go lies in its roster of chibi characters, known as the Apostles. These cute characters are designed in various famous meme art styles, and you can explore them all through the character menu. Each character has unique star ratings, different play styles, and special abilities to handle monsters in battles.

These chibi characters from the Trickcal:Chibi Go tier list can rank up to five stars, with those having higher star levels boasting greater power. The best part? You can pinch their cute cheeks for fun! Pinching their cheeks shows different expressions like smiling, crying, questioning, or super happy to make the game more enjoyable. The animations and cheek-pinching vary by star level. Here’s how it works:

  • 1 Star: Basic units with no cheek pinching and minimal animations. They are useful for early battles.

  • 2 Stars: Featuring better stats and the ability to pinch their cheeks for fun.

  • 3 Stars and Up: These characters display full animations, including smiling, being super happy, questioning, or sad, and can also pinch their cheeks.

All these characters that you can acquire by rerolling can be upgraded to 5 stars with a dupe system, so it's not all about the star ratings. So don't ditch your favourite anime cute characters easily.

Apostle Recruitment for Gaining Characters

Trickcal: Chibi Go is a gacha game, which means you'll acquire more apostles for your roster through a special gacha system called Apostle Recruitment. You can unlock this gacha system by completing stage 1-3. There are several banners available for acquiring higher-star rarity characters within this recruitment gacha system. You can pull from these banners using Crystal Leaves and Apostle Recruitment tickets.

Apostle Recruitment for Gaining Characters

This system also features a pity mechanic, which helps you obtain your desired characters after a certain number of pulls. However, finding recruitment tickets or Crystal Leaves can be a challenging task, making it difficult to acquire higher-rarity characters. Securing the rarest characters known as Eldrains is particularly difficult, with only a 0.6% chance of acquiring them. Below are the rates for your pulls:

  • 3-star characters: 3%

  • 2-star characters: 21%

  • 1-star characters: 76%

  • Eldrain characters: 0.6%

That's how the Apostle Recruitment works. As a beginner, you have a special banner opportunity known as Rookie Recruitment with a limited number of recruits. In this banner, you can enjoy a great discount on 10 pulls, and after your 10th recruitment, you'll have a chance to earn a 2-star or higher, and 50 recruitment chances guarantee a 3-star character for your account. So, make sure to use your early rewards on this banner to secure a special character for your roster right from the start.

Enhancing Your Cute Characters

It's not just about recruiting higher-star characters in Trickcal: Chibi Go. To make your characters stronger and progress through tougher stages, you need to enhance them. Enhancing boosts their power, which is crucial for advancing in your adventure. There are two major ways to power up these characters: Level Up and Equipment. Both methods unlock after completing Stage 1-5. Additionally, a significant enhancement method, the Board, becomes available late in the game and is essential for boosting your characters. Let’s explore each enhancement method:

Level Up

Level Up

This is the basic enhancement method for your cute characters. You can level up using food materials, which increases the character’s basic stats, such as HP, SP, Physical Defense, Magic Defense, Physical Attack Power, and Magic Attack Power. By increasing these stats, you enhance the character's combat power, so keep leveling up for greater effectiveness.

Equipment

Equipping your characters is a great way to make them stronger. Each Apostle has specific equipment that boosts their basic stats when equipped. You can add up to six items per character, and you earn equipment by winning stages.

Wearing all six pieces of equipment triggers a Rank Up, which makes the character even stronger. You can get equipment by clearing stages or crafting it with materials. Make sure to equip all six items for each character you use to gain a bigger advantage!

Star Up Apostles

You don’t need to worry about your Apostles’ star ratings. You can increase their star level with the Star Up process. To do this, each Apostle needs a specific Apostle Certificate. For example, a 1-star Apostle can be upgraded to a 2-star Apostle with the right certificate. This process greatly boosts your Apostle’s basic stats, making them stronger and more confident.

Board

The Board is another special feature to increase character stats like ATK, DEF, Crit, Crit DMG, Crit Resist, and HP. This enhancement functions as a structured board where each square impacts the character's stats. You'll need Crayons for board upgrades, which come in four types:

  • Brown Crayons: Boost only that character's stats.

  • Purple Crayons: Add flat stats to all your characters.

  • Blue Crayons: Assist by coloring purple or adjacent squares.

  • Gold Crayons: The rarest and most valuable, as they add a certain percentage of stats to all your characters.

Gold Crayons are the most useful, so focus on farming them by clearing stages and playing dungeons. Use Gold Crayons on HP, ATK, or Crit squares for all characters, as these are the most effective. Avoid using them on DEF squares, as DEF stats are less important in endgame battles.

Learning the Trickcal: Chibi Go Combat

Combat in Trickcal:Chibi Go is a blend of auto-chess and tower defense. In each stage, you’ll battle through five waves of monsters. Understanding the combat mechanics is essential for successfully clearing these waves and earning three stars. Here are some Trickcal:Chibi Go tips for Trickcal:Chibi Go combat:

Prepare your army

  • When combat starts, you will have one minute to prepare your army for battle in the Team Build Phase before the Battle Phase begins.

  • Strategically placing your characters within the Team Build Phase is the way to win battles.

  • Within the Team Build Phase, buy Apostle Cards with coins to get players for the team.

  • After the time limit in the Team Build Phase ends, the battle starts automatically. So, be quicker and build your team before the time ends.

  • There are three lines available for placing your chibi characters: Front, Mid, and Back, with three slots in each line.

  • You can deploy six characters from your roster for combat against monsters.

  • Each character has a role as DPS, Tank, or Support. Therefore, manage your assembled and strategically position characters as follows:

    • Front: Tanks

    • Mid: Close-range DPS and Supporters

    • Back: Long-range DPS and a mix of Supporters

  • For optimal combat, aim for a team composition of two tanks, 2-3 DPS, and 1-2 supporters.

Combat Tip: Always check each character's information from the menu, as it will indicate which lane they suit best and their role (DPS, Supporter, or Tank). Balancing your team’s composition according to their positions will provide significant advantages.
