Characters Ranked in Seal of Fate Tier List
We play the game and build different team comps. The tier list as follows is based on the hottest CTB team and characters and few passages. Meanwhile, we consider their practicability, strength and the difficulty of progression.
*The rank depends on various materials, so there are nuances between ours and others'. We will update our tier list in time.

SS Rank Characters - The Strongest and Most Versatile
Rank SS characters performs extraordinary power in specific setup. They are viable in every teams at the same time as the most versatile.
Ruriken
Role: Raider | Capability: Burst DMG output, DEF/ATK Buffs, AoE Counter ATK
Ruriken is the main DPS in Oblivion Team with destructive overall burst DMG output. According to the battlefield, she can boost herself different buffs, including DEF ignore, Ultimate enhancement, DMG mitigation and etc.. Her counter ATK can deal AoE DMG output. Therefore, with Ruriken, the battle turns into a crushing blitz.
Valkyria
Role: Striker | Capability: Crowd Control immunity, Weak survivability
Valkyria stands out in Sanctum Team with AoE DMG unique CC immunity. However, her slow starting and weak survivability requires a powerful support. Equip Valkyria with Sun Rune to solve this problem. Besides, Valkyria is able to frequently hit all enemies with extra ATK. Beware, her vulnerability always becomes a breakthrough for enemies.
Lustie
Role: Guardian | Capability: True Damage, Sustain
Lustie performs surprising survivability while dealing consistent true DMG. Her damage output increase while her HP decrease. Nocturne members focus on excellent tanking skill except Lustie who plays an inevitable DPS. Don't be confused by her photos. Handcuffs and chains cannot restrain from her unfathomable strength.
Lilith
Role: Striker | Capability: Burning Dot Debuff, Energy Regen, Restore HP
Lilith with her special mechanism performs outstanding DPS in Elemental Team. Lilith can quickly restore HP and Ultimate Energy and stack multiple "Burn" debuffs - true damage. Actually, she only reaches S rank, whereas she can be comparable with others paired with Cryonica.
Melissa
Role: Support | Capability: Respawn, DMG buffs
Melissa as an overpowered support almost teams up with every character. When she levels up to UR 5⭐, she can deals DMG no weaker than strikers or raiders. To be important, her respawn skill and DMG buffs are essential for the lineups. The faster you upgrade Melissa, the easier the game is!
Aviary
Role: Support | Capability: Crowd Control, DMG buffs, DEF buffs
Aviary - another overpowered support - executes Crowd Control to all enemies and boosts allies DMG. She applies DMG mitigation buffs to teammates lower HP than her, and Crit rate to teammates higher HP than her. In addition, she inflicts CC and EX DMG debuffs on enemies. She is really omnipotent support!
S Rank Characters - Unchangeable in Team
Although rank S characters are not the best, they stand out the core members, namely inevitable characters in teams.
Lan
Role: Raider | Capability: Ultimate Energy regen and limitation
Lan stands out consistent and multiple Ultimate Energy regen for teams and effectively reduces enemies' energy. She is able to apply Ultimate DMG mitigation and DMG buffs to allies, and puts DEF ingore on all raiders. She plays a key role of Oblivion team paired with Ruriken. Want to experience extreme output, pull a Lan to support.
Lunella
Role: Guardian | Capability: True Damage, Tank skills
Lunelle boasts high true damage and essential Tank skill that improve overall survivability. She is the core in Nocturne Team as both the Tank and DPS. Lunelle increases others DMG output and DEF applies buffs to all teammates. Nocturne Team without her seems like fish without water.
Khione
Role: Raider | Capability: Balanced Stats, Weak survivability
Khione is versatile character with excellent DMG, CC, debuff and buff. She is highly recommended at early stage for easy progression, even viable in late-game teams. Level up Khione to SSR 5⭐ will unlock her Freeze, limiting enemies action and dealing DMG. She is definite the face of the game.
A Rank Characters - Alternative to Upper Rank
If you don't have character outperform the above character, rank A characters are the best choice for you. Some of them are also part of optimal members in specific teams.
Hanura
Role: Raider | Capability: Burst Damage, Defence ignore
Hanura performs outstanding ST burst DMG with DEF ignore. Sometimes, she can solo Boss because she has extra ATK after unleashing Ultimate. However, we recommend Hanura used in high ATK teams. Raiders with her bonus effect can get DMG buffs and ignore defence when unleashing Ultimate.
Fyre
Role: Striker | Capability: Burn Debuff, True Damage, Slow Enemy Energy Regen
Fyre has a good command of fire. She stands out stacking Burn debuff rapidly. Her Ulitimate can deal burst true DMG and slow enemy energy regen. Fyre in Elemental team is to add icing to the cake.
Sanctina
Role: Support | Capability: CC, Strong Survivability
Sanctina stands out remarkable CC. As the core of Sanctum team, Sanctina applies DMG-Free Buff to allies, and strengthen burst damage, who not only inflicts energy debuffs on enemies but also executes crowd control. Paired with Valkyria, there is bonus effect - less enemies, better power.
Raven
Role: Support | Capability: Steal Energy, Eternal Debuff
Raven is unique support and the versatile long-term battle support. Her Ultimate permanently inflicts ATK and ultimate DMG debuff on all enemies, while UR 5⭐ giving more debuffs. Besides, she steals energy to limit Ultimate ensuring her survival. Without Melissa or Aviary, Raven is a good alternative.
B Rank Characters - Limited Flexibility
Comparing with the above characters, rank B characters have limited effect and lack practicability. However, they perhaps stands out in specific team or with higher level, stars and tier (Prioritize other flexible character).
Cryonica
Role: Guardian | Capability: Super Effective, Reduce Debuff Resistence
Cryonica performs better with Lilith, especially in Elemental team. She deals ST burst DMG that is "Super Effective" against "Burn" target, so she quickly clears up low HP one. She also serves as support who drain enemies energy and debuff resistence. If you want to play Elemental team, don't leave her alone.
Annabelle
Role: Guardian | Capability: High shield, Multi-Stacking Energy Drain
Annabelle performs excellent tank and protects allies with high shield. Her multi-stacking energy reduction further improves team survivability. Besides, Annabelle teams up with Lunella bringing unexpecting effect.
C Rank Characters - Only for Newbie
Rank C characters with weaker ability are suitable in early game. Pick better characters in late game.
Role: Guardian | Capability: Both Tank and DPS
Grace is a budget god in early game. Her tanking ability, especially mutated Grace, is totally enough to push storyline. But she cannot deals high damage. That is why she will be optimized. By the way, mutated Asuka also stands out in early game who is close to rank A.
