Global game company HAEGIN (CEO Youngil Lee) announced a new horse racing festival update, Legend Derby, for its casual social networking game Play Together.

Prepared to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Horse, the update centers on the Legend Derby, a festival held to determine Kaia Island’s greatest racehorse. During the event, the main roads of Kaia Island Plaza will transform into a dazzling racecourse.
Players are appointed as coaches at the elite horse-training institute Pegasus Academy, where they assist promising racehorses Rumi and Crimson by completing a variety of training missions. Through fast-paced minigames in which players race at full speed alongside their horses, they can even aim for victory in the derby itself.
By completing the Pegasus Coaching Manual missions, players can earn the Pegasus Riding costume. In addition, finishing Run! Legend Derby!, which is entered using event coins, rewards players with items such as the Pegasus Academy Dean’s Uniform Set and the Crimson Pony (Mount).
To further celebrate the Year of the Horse, the update also introduces newly designed pets and crafting content. Two new flying pets, the Pegasus Donkey and Unicorn Donkey, can be crafted through the Workshop. Players can also collect 30 limited-edition Legend Derby Ponies, each wearing special outfits, through time-limited combination.
Meanwhile, the Carrot Workshop is opening in My Farm, allowing players to craft various event items using carrots they grow themselves. A special attendance event is also underway, granting Pegasus Coins and the adorable Hobby Horse (Mount) simply for logging in over seven days.
In celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year, a midnight countdown event will begin on February 16, where players can gather together to welcome the new year. Additionally, My Farm will introduce three new crops: the papaya, fig, and soursop trees. These fruits symbolize prosperity in Southeast Asian New Year traditions.
