Download Hanping Chinese Camera OCR on PC

This is a must have app for learning Chinese with intermediate fluency. I take a picture of the Chinese characters I want to learn throughout the day, then at night I use this app to figure out the meaning and pronunciation, then I practice reading and writing. It's so much faster than using a dictionary to look up the characters! After using the app a while I know which fonts and styles it supports and so I take pictures that it will recognize. No bubble letters, unusual fonts, handwriting.

it could be me not knowing how to use this properly, but it recognizes some characters sometimes.what is funny, is it not picking up simple ones like 人, but will snag 您 with many strokes. i wish i could show a picture to illustrate. but, even for the inaccuracy, i can see something like this being a life saver abroad. you'll see what words it thinks it is, so its not as though it's spitting back sentences with no context. it will never confuse you more than help.

Failed in many cases to decipher characters in camera mode. It works well if characters are very clear and the text color is rich. Apps does not really meeting my requirements and expectations. Need to improve further.
