Here you are the descendant of the food god according to this game. Therefore, your primary duty is to collect the top food souls or characters and nourish them with enough nutrition to make them strong. At all times, you have time; you can interact with them, spending precious time.
The characters here are food souls, where you can collect more than a hundred. The food souls are very cute, attracting you to this game even more. The more you interact with them, the more you can unlock various stories about them. And also, you can manage a restaurant on your own while working with your food souls.

The summoning system is a gacha where you can’t easily summon the character you need. But when you use LDPlayer 9 to play The Tale of Food, it is easy to summon your favorite food soul quickly without wasting your resources or precious time as it has the multi-instance sync feature.
I love this game. The food theme is really fun, and it's one of the rare boy unit only games that are sonething other than rhythm or otome. I have 2 issues though. The 1st is the English translation is barely readable sometimes. I think it's an MTL that needs editing. The 2nd is that even with 2x tickets, you have to leave your phone on autoplay for a while. It'd be awesome if they added skip tickets or a similar feature.
Love the game but there are issues with this release. I play Singapore/Malaysia version also. A couple of things: 1. There are no voice lines for the story. In other versions, the main story and event stories are fully voiced. This really takes away from the experience. 2. No option to use different languages for UI and voice lines. 3. There are still typos/untranslated bits scattered if using English language pack. Chinese UI is okay since it's a direct port.
Absolutely amazing. The art is so pretty, all the characters are awesome, story is greatly written and battles are fun. I love trying to collect all the event items and then epically failing because I'm too slow (lol) After playing for a while I still haven't gotten bored with it. The music is nice. I haven't spent any money on this game, and you don't really need to in order to have a good time. Gacha system is nice and not too frustrating. I have no complaints and highly recommend playing ^_^
