*EDIT 2/17** I'm enjoying the update with no issues. it seems to "flow" together smoother, for lack of a better word. My issue has been going on since first installed Chrome. I've got my Settings to Ask where to download but it never worked so I just overlooked it,but if I'm trying to just read a PDF file or a linked document in an article my navigation bar shows them downloading automatically. Site settings permissions doesnt seem to work. I've been through Community help but no luck so far.
Completely tone-deaf response from google, no surprise. The real reason is for the bad performance is all the adds!. It takes time to load them all and the way the screen is constantly changing to try keep them in view takes processing power; it's pathetic. What % of my screen should contain content and what % adds? I think your boardroom's decision exceeded the bounds of good taste. Unfortunately I can't see you rolling back any of these changes, only continuing on ruining your product so bye.
Sorry to say my goto browser has gone Microsoft Edge, that is it is a horrible browser with horrid interface, it just doesn't work as well as it used to. I am currently looking at other browsers. very disappointing. Cant click on hotels on the map, they make you hit cancel then click. Ads OMG, stupid search not (maybe more microsoft than Chrome). Stop trying to reinvent, just make it more user friendly, chrome going the way of the dogs now. Dig Microsoft take over the programing?
