– Simple, Accessible Controls
The control system has been streamlined to work perfectly with modern touch interfaces.
The position of the directional pad can be adjusted freely, enabling players to switch between one-handed and two-handed play with a tap of the screen.
The combat system has also been reworked, allowing for one-tap battles as well as more complex play.
– The Tension System
During battle, you can select 'Psyche Up' to give your next attack some extra oomph!
The more you psyche a character up, the higher their tension will rise, until they finally reach an insane state known as super-high tension!
– Skill Points
Skill points are earned when your characters level up, and can be assigned to various skills in order to learn new spells and abilities.
This system allows you to perfectly tailor your team to your liking.
– Monster Teams
Certain monsters found in the field can be scouted for your monster team – if you're tough enough to beat them, that is!
Once assembled, your crack squad can take part in the fiercely-contested tournaments held at the monster arena, and can even come to your aid in battle!

The touch controls are awful they need to be redesigned, but that won't happen. I'm sorry but whoever decided that it should only be in vertical mode, with no controller support is crazy. The game itself is amazing but the controls are so bad it ruins the experience it's a shame.Also no original English VO. Definitely 1 outta 5 stars.
The classic PS2 RPG in about 70% of its full glory. The great story, strategic battle system, and memorable characters are all here, and yet something just seems off. The cheesy yet charming voice acting is gone, the colorful artistic menus are replaced by a dull gray, and the control system is designed such that you cam theoretically play with one hand, but it fails to account for tablets and larger phones like my Pixel 2 XL. In a sense I'd actually recommend this game more if you haven't played the original version, just because you won't know the extra finishing touches and polish you're missing. And buried beneath the drab interface and awkward controls is a truly wonderful game that deserves to be loved for the crippled little beast it is.
I don't know about this one. I paid $20 for this hoping for a fun experience but first thing I notice is the framerate. It's very laggy and takes a while for the camera to go where you want to. Then came the controls. It's very hard to move the character around and paired with the laggy framerate you can imagine how hard it is to traverse around town. You also can't customize anything in this game apart from where you want the directional pad placed. No voice acting either, what?
