Would be a cool little game but every new course has a tutorial message that takes up the center of the screen and you can't remove it without taking a shot, without being able to see where you are aiming. Also, it is the exact same message every time. Enough of an annoyance to ruin my enjoyment within the first few holes. You can't turn the sound off either. Would be a solid little game otherwise but it'll probably sit unplayed until I eventually uninstall.
fun game with a lot of content, nice visuals and simple to just pick up and play for a few minutes. a big complaint is the camera controls. every course has little secrets and easter eggs (which add quite a bit of replayability if youre a completionist) i often found myself panning around the map looking for them and the touch camera controls are just so rough. and a "snap back to ball" camera option would be great for players like me. ideally have a camera that works like google maps.
I love this game! It's a little rough around the edges, but makes up for it with a ton of content, lots of easter eggs and hidden features, multiple game modes, and multi-player. My one request is to have the panning direction of the camera angle match the direction of aiming the golf ball. Currently they are opposite for some reason, so if I swipe left to view the course, then I have to swipe right when aiming my shot. That is difficult to get used to. Other than that, great game!
