Éco Héros Description
The Eco Hero app is where kids come together to help protect animals! Registration is FREE and they have access to real-life missions, like building backyard habitats, making forest-friendly crafts, and protecting marine animals from pollution. Plus, through symbolic animal adoptions, they can also discover and support conservation projects for a multitude of species, such as the majestic polar bear and the adorable red fox. And on our wild blog, loads of fun animal content awaits them, such as charts, trivia games and more.
The Eco Hero app lets kids create their own avatar, earn points for each activity they do, earn badges, level up to unlock special rewards, and roam the coolest habitats around the world. Canada in their quest to become the best protectors of animals among all members of Eco Heroes!
The app offers children:
Over 20 fun missions that have a real positive impact on the environment, such as planting trees, recycling batteries, saving energy and creating a butterfly garden;
The symbolic adoption of wild animals that allows them to concretely support conservation projects on the ground across Canada;
Virtual badges, participant rankings and rewards for almost every action you take on the app;
Endless entertainment and endless inspiration from hours of educational videos and thousands of fascinating articles on animals and the environment;
A game in which points earned allow you to level up and browse through habitats, unlocking exciting animal facts along the way;
Customizable avatars that allow them to create their own virtual identity;
A FREE membership card and welcome pack mailed out once they are registered in good standing.
About Eco Heroes
Eco Hero is the Children’s Conservation Organization, a charitable organization dedicated to instilling in every child in Canada the environmental knowledge, positivity and self-confidence necessary to take action. By registering to become members of Eco Héros, children, supported by their families, commit to carrying out actions that directly contribute to the protection of wildlife. In their journey, members move to the next level by accomplishing tangible activities, participating in concrete conservation projects and engaging in educational content. But most of all, the program gives children a sense of belonging, inspires them with optimism and provides them with proof that, through our common efforts, we can make a difference.
