Youmpire Description
With this app and a Bluetooth ring (= controller, to be purchased separately), a player is able to feed the points to a mobile phone or a pad (= device). The device speaks aloud the score in English or gives a beep sound to indicate which player won the point. The score is visible on the device screen.
The app supports all tennis rules like tiebreak and no-ad. In tennis, the points 0, 15, 30 and 40 are first shown and the game score is shown after the game has been played.
In badminton mode the point range is from zero to 30 points.
If the point was given to the wrong player, there is an undo feature.
There is a non-use alarm (giving a continuous beep sound) to prevent forgetting the device on the courtside. User can choose the time period, after which the alarm is given, between 0.5 and 5 minutes, or disable this alarm completely.
The operating range of the ring controller covers easily the dimensions of a tennis court.
