Secure Communication Description
SecCom is not intended to replace any social messaging applications. Its use is purely for the ones that have a reason to require extra security when exchanging messages.
The encryption logic, has been designed in such a way that no keys are pre-shared or shared in any other way, throught the app/network. This means, that there is no possible way for the encrypted communication to be hijacked or "shared" except if you physically share them.
Beside allowing user to decide his crypto-keys, the platform has extra security features. Some of them are:
-No real user information is needed to use the app, you only need a valid email to register for the service. There is no assosiation of the app with your mobile number or your information from other social networks.
-The server stores a limited amount of your encrypted data. The server has no knowledge of your crypto-keys.
-End-to-end encyprion (obviously) but with no crypto-key sharing (as the rest crypto-messaging apps offer).
-The app stores locally only your log-in information, which can also be changed.
-You can encrypt each message with a different crypto-key.
Think this, with the app you dont only pick the "lock" , you also pick the "key"...
Additional translations will be added on future releases.
More information can be found on our link, through the app.
