Petra Dippold-Goetz Description
All my life I have been passionate about painting. Born near Nuremberg, I grew up in the city of Albrecht Dürer and have always been fascinated by this charming artist. I attended a classical high school and my parents supported and strengthened my artistic and socio-political interest. To improve and refine my techniques I studied Fine Arts at the Faber-Castell Academy from 2014 to 2018. Inspired by visits to museums in throughout Europe my art has been influenced by "Arte Informale", in particular by Emil Schumacher, Anselm Kiefer, Jean Dubuffet, Antoni Tapies, Alberto Burri and, last but not least, Jackson Pollock and Franz Kline. I really like collages and assemblies of all kinds. I work with acrylic and oil colors, depending on the subject. I passionately work with heterogeneous materials such as sand, wooden parts, garbage as well as any kind of plastic. With my paintings I want to express a passionate joy for the beauty of life, the beauty of art and the beauty of our world today. But I would also like to draw people's attention to current topics and issues, I want to make the problems of our time such as environmental destruction aware. In 2019 I was invited to exhibit at Art Austria in Vienna. It touched my heart deeply to see my work in the splendid Palais Liechtenstein. Also in 2019 I attended the delivery ceremony of my painting 'Modern Germany' to the mayor of Sovicille as a gift from the mayor of the city where I work. I am so proud that my work now hangs in the town hall of this beautiful city in Tuscany. In July 2020 I exhibited at ‚Azaroartspaces' in Hamburg and was invited to participate in the Salzburg International Art Fair in August as the only artist among several galleries. My works have been exhibited at the Swiss Art Expo in Zurich and in October I was so happy to be part of ITSLIQUID GROUP's ‚Future Landscapes' exhibition in Venice. In June 2021 I had the honor to show some of my works on Barcelona Contemporary 2021. In June and July 2021, some of my paintings will be exhibited at Deansgate Gallery in Manchester, as part of the MANCHESTER EXHIBITION 2021 exhibition.Since 2020 I am represented with my art at https://www.saatchiart.com/petrapaintinghttps: //www.artzine.com/DrPetraDippoldGoetz
