The application is a tool for the woman's daily life, where she can send, via WhatsApp, her location, the address where she is and the situation she is facing, harassment, threat or if she needs help.
The numbers of violence against women, which only increase year after year, show how our society suffers from this evil, and how much women suffer daily.
The HARASSMENT button aims to get the woman out of that situation, where she can send the preconfigured message “I am being harassed, I am at that address, (address + location). By sending this message she is alerting a contact or a whatsapp group of what happened.
The THREAT button is for situations where the woman is feeling threatened in some way, whether by a stranger, by a partner or ex-partner. The pre-configured message “I feel threatened, I am at that address, (address + location).
The HELP button is used for situations that the woman deems to be extremely or dangerous, where she deems it necessary the intervention of another person to get her out of that situation. The preconfigured message “I need HELP, I am in DANGER, I am at that address, (address + location).
The SHOW ON MAP button shows your location, for situations where you don't know exactly where you are. For example, a party in a neighborhood where you've never been. When you start the app it will show you your address and location via your device's GPS. If you are building with thick walls, try to approach windows or doors.
Why address and location?
Address and location are different information, your address is the name of the street and the neighborhood where you are, your location is based on latitude and longitude. If you are in a room at the back of the house, google may not understand your address and return it with “0”, since your location is more accurate.
