CitMapp Description
CitMapp, is a platform for collaborative mapping projects that aims to make visible the day-to-day of citizen science in our towns, cities and our closest environment.
The application allows the collection of data in real time and favors the implementation of scientific analyzes on biodiversity, urban planning, heritage conservation, environmental pollution, light...
Users collect the position and activity, perform measurements or capture relevant images of phenomena of interest that can be expanded by the community.
The CitMapp user can become the manager of their own citizen science project, collaborate on existing projects or rate them so that other citizens can easily find them.
As project manager, the user defines the parameters that he considers useful for the study, and that the rest of the citizen scientists will use to add more information to the project.
Create your project, observe, measure, take images and share your scientific findings with the community, or support the projects that are most useful or interesting with your data.
The application is developed by the Ibercivis Foundation, promoted by the Zaragoza Activa Collaborative Mapping Resident Group / Geoinquietos Zaragoza and financed by the Zaragoza City Council through Zaragoza Activa.
