Purification of the Heart From Despicable Nature
1. Clean the Heart
First, it should cleanse the heart of all acts of cheating, dirty, hate, envy, bad faith and bad character; this is done to improve in receiving knowledge, guarding it and reviewing its meanings in detail and its vague essence.
2. Position of Science
Because as stated by some scholars that knowledge is hidden prayer, heart worship and inner closeness
3. Requirements to Gain Knowledge
As it is not allowed (not valid) to pray which is a real body worship except with physical purity from hadats and uncleanness, so it is the same with knowledge, which is an act of worship of the heart, so it is not justified to gain it except in a state of purity from the qualities that are ugly, bad and despicable morals.
4. The Blessing of Knowledge Because of a Good Heart
If the heart is good in accepting knowledge, then the blessings of that knowledge and its development can be seen, like fertile soil for farming, then the plants will grow and develop.
5. Obstruction of Light Entering the Heart
Sahl said: "It is forbidden for the heart to enter light while in it there are things that Allah hates 'Azza wa Jalla."
In a hadith it reads: "Verily, in the body there is a lump of flesh. If he is good, then the whole body is good too. If he is damaged, then the whole body is damaged. Know that it is the heart (heart).”
