Anime Card Clash Update 8.6.1 introduces Global Boss Contracts, a major event featuring two rotating World Bosses, eight Contract Boss battles, contract crafting, permanent buffs, and Contract Ranked PvP.
The headline encounters are Awakened Chainsaw Fiend and Fear Of Guns, but players must also defeat six additional Contract Bosses. This guide explains the new event and covers several tested teams capable of dealing up to 35 million damage.

What Are Global Boss Contracts in Anime Card Clash?

Global Boss Contracts unlock after reaching 50 million and have their own lobby district, boss arena, event shop, crafting system, and separate card inventory.
The event includes eight Contract Bosses:
- Awakened Chainsaw Fiend
- Bomb Fiend
- Awakened Blood Fiend
- Fear Of Control
- Fear Of Guns
- Fear Of War
- Fear Of Darkness
- Fear Of Hell
Each boss can be challenged on Normal, Medium, Hard, or Extreme difficulty. Higher difficulties can reward golden versions of boss materials.
Update 8.6.1 also reduced the Contract Boss cooldown from ten minutes to two minutes, making repeated farming considerably faster.
New Rotating World Bosses
Awakened Chainsaw Fiend and Fear Of Guns rotate in the lobby on an hourly cycle. Each World Boss has server-wide shared health, personal reward milestones, and separate battle challenges.
Because these bosses are not identical, one team may perform differently against each encounter. A lineup that reaches 35 million damage against Awakened Chainsaw Fiend may produce a lower score against Fear Of Guns.
All Contract Effects
Defeating bosses and crafting their Contracts grants permanent benefits, but every Contract also comes with a drawback.

Choose Contracts according to your team’s damage source. For example, Gun offers a straightforward damage increase but also makes your cards less durable.
Best Awakened Chainsaw Fiend Team
The strongest tested strategy centers on Awakened Golden Wind as the main attacker. In the recorded test, this core reached approximately 20 million damage without a strong Trait and performed much better after upgrading its Trait.
Recommended Awakened Golden Wind Core
- Main attacker: Awakened Golden Wind *4
- Recommended Traits: One Above All, Blast, or Overlord
- Role: Primary scaling damage dealer
- Expected result: Up to approximately 35 million with a strong setup

One Above All is helpful, but it is not mandatory. Awakened Golden Wind can still clear Contract Bosses without a premium Trait; better Traits mainly improve damage and consistency.
Alternative Awakened Chainsaw Fiend Team
- Cosmic Villain
- King of Helheim
- Forest Clones
- Shield Hero

This lineup is worth testing when your Awakened Golden Wind is underdeveloped. Rainbow Subaru can also serve as an alternative attacker in an Awakened Golden Wind-style setup.
Best Fear Of Guns Team
The Awakened Golden Wind core can fight Fear Of Guns, but its damage was less consistent in testing. It produced approximately 18–20 million damage in some attempts.
The following dedicated lineup performed much better:
- King of Helheim
- Bald Hero
- Fate Tempter Bull
- Integrity Knight

On Extreme difficulty, this team reached 35 million damage in seven turns during the recorded test.
Why This Team Works
King of Helheim provides the central offensive engine, while the other cards supply the control and support needed to maintain damage. Fate Tempter Bull may be the most expensive part of the lineup, but the team does not depend entirely on Celestial or premium variants.
A community-shared all-Basic-border alternative also completed the encounter in five turns and dealt around 13 million damage. It is a useful fallback for accounts without Rainbow King of Helheim or Rainbow Fate Tempter Bull.
Best General Team for Contract Bosses
For players who want one lineup instead of rebuilding their deck for every encounter, the following team demonstrated strong overall performance:
- Shinigami Illusionist
- Rainbow King of Helheim
- Secret Bald Hero
- Rainbow Fate Tempter Bull

This team reached approximately 35 million damage against Bomb Fiend and Fear Of War.
Fear Of Darkness was the least consistent encounter. If the team underperforms on the first attempt, retry before replacing the entire lineup.
Contract Boss Farming Tips
Start With a Flexible Team
Use the Awakened Golden Wind core or the Shinigami Illusionist lineup when clearing all eight bosses for the first time. Build a dedicated team only for encounters where your damage drops sharply.
Farm Higher Difficulties When Possible
Higher difficulties provide access to golden boss materials. Use the highest difficulty that your account can clear consistently instead of relying on unstable victories.
Save Materials for Important Contracts
Do not craft every Contract immediately. Prioritize the buff that best supports your main team, then account for its drawback before equipping it.
Use Auto-Raid for Repeated Farming
Update 8.6.1 improved Auto-Raid and reduced Contract Boss cooldowns to two minutes. This makes automated farming more practical once you have a stable team.
