So, without further ado, let's begin with the tier list for the best characters and the worst characters of the game.

Now that we have seen the tier list, let's discuss the best team composition to gain better results and progress conveniently into the Olympus: Idle Legends.

Choosing Teams

When you start the game, you might not have the best characters. But you can have them or at least have a stronger team than many other beginners if you invest wisely. You have to invest in the S-ranked heroes' resources. To have a good team, you have to get the maximum out of the available resources. You will have to put together a team of 5-7 characters of various factions.

As per the current strength of various factions and heroes, Mages and the Archers are the most powerful class in Olympus: Idle Legends. They provide Damage Per Second (DPS) and add Crowd Control (CC) features and skills such as using Sleep, Charm, freeze, and various other tactics. We believe that there should be a total of 2-3 heroes from these two factions combined in the battle team. Using more than three slots for mages/archers is quite unusual for players as it will leave out fewer slots for other important factions.

Based on the game mode, it might be beneficial to have one priest on hand for healing or 1 to 2 warriors on hand for tank class characters. As the game stands, assassins are the weakest class right now. So, you should not invest in them currently.

To summarize, you should aim for three to four DPS heroes (mages/archers), one healer (priest), and one to two tanks (warriors). More than this will stretch your resources too thin and make it much more difficult to complete all of Olympus: Idle Legends' content.

Best DPS heroes from Mages or Archers faction

Now that we know what type of team composition one should look for, we need to figure out which heroes will fill those positions. For DPS (mages/archers), you should prioritize Aphrodite and Artemis over anything else. These two archers are the best among S-ranked heroes who may be summoned normally. Aphrodite has tremendous burst and can continually enchant her opponents, causing them to attack themselves instead of you, thereby converting the battle into a 6v4 in your advantage! Because she summons a dog with identical attributes to herself, Artemis serves as both a DPS and a tank.

Olympus: Idle Legends Artemis

The tier list mentioned above brings us to the excellent mages as we step down the tier list. Thanatos uses large AOE strikes that do greater damage if the adversary is CC'd, and he also freezes all of his rivals. Nereus' basic strike, which may hit two foes at once, consistently stuns them, while his AOE ultimate ability reduces the adversaries' attack damage. Demeter may transfigure 1 to 2 opponents while also mending her squad. Thanatos is more focused on DPS, but Nereus and Demeter are more focused on team support via CC and heals; however, all three heroes have amazing usefulness in Olympus: Idle Legends.

While you should acquire Aphrodite and Artemis, you should probably only choose 1-2 heroes from the trio of Thanatos, Nereus, and Demeter. The remaining normal-summonable mages/archers are subpar alternatives that should be avoided unless you enjoy their appearance.

Olympus: Idle Legends Nereus

TO CONCLUDE: Aphrodite and Artemis are must-haves for DPS. Choose 1-2 of the following to level up: Thanatos, Nereus, and Demeter.

Best Healer heroes in Olympus: Idle Legends

Because the fights are so short in most gameplay modes, you won't require a healer (priest). As a result, it is acceptable to refrain from investing in a priest. However, having one on hand might be useful during long-lasting confrontations when frequent heals from your priest can give you an advantage, such as in the "World Boss" mode or certain of the campaign missions where the adversary is incredibly tanky but can't inflict burst damage. If you decide to go with a priest, I strongly advise you to go with Prometheus.

He has a high heal on his ultimate ability, a moderate heal on his passive ability, and a stun chance on his basic attack. The essential aspect of him, though, would be that his ultimate status ability increases the attack of his teammates by 40%. Even though the other normal-summonable priests can't compete with Prometheus' kit, we certainly wouldn't recommend Athena or Thetis. However, if you're obstinate and still want to find an alternative priest, Athena is a good potential replacement.

TO Sum It all up: Priests aren't required, but if you want one, Prometheus is the way to go.

Best Tank heroes in Olympus: Idle Legends

This will be a little contentious area of the guide since having a warrior on the front lines to withstand damage for your team is beneficial; however, many of those in the community, in general, believe that warriors are useless. However, suppose you provide your warrior with enough available resources. In that case, it may tank pretty well and provide your DPS characters the time they have to take to eradicate the opposition team.

Atlas, Brunhilde, and Ares are the three warriors we will suggest in that order. Atlas and Brunhilde are both tanker characters with damage reduction abilities. Atlas also recovers passively after each move and can AOE stun the other team.

Brunhilde has a slower HP recovery technique, but she compensates with damage reflection and may taunt the other team. Atlas may reduce an ally's damage, but Brunhilde boosts her friends' protection. They are quite comparable possibilities, so choose the one that appeals to you the most. Ares is a step down from the previous two heroes. While Atlas and Brunhilde are more concerned with absorbing opponent strikes, Ares seeks to balance being a tank and an offensive presence. Unfortunately for him, doing so renders him poor in both jobs and marginally inferior.

However, there aren't many fantastic fire heroes in this game yet, so having Ares around for particular game styles where you require a fire hero might be useful. The last normal-summonable warrior (Hephaestus) is not worth your time or money.

TO Recap: The community had a mixed reaction to the Warriors. If you want to be a warrior, Atlas or Brunhilde are your best choices, with Ares a distant third position.

To conclude all that we have discussed so far – this article focuses mostly on the popular S-ranked heroes you may obtain without spending any money in the game. Other, more powerful S-ranked heroes are available, but they are normally available if you decide to pay for them.
