Players from South Korea and Japan are now able to enjoy the new Closed Alpha version of Diablo Immortal. The Alpha comes right after the Technical Alpha, which is playable on Android. The developers have altered a lot of the features found in the game to better suit a mobile platform. The Closed Alpha will now be beginning in Australia. This article will talk about everything you need to know about the Closed Alpha and all the new features that will be available very soon. If you haven’t already, here’s how you can download Diablo Immortal on PC.

Brand New Crusader Class:

Diablo Immortal Closed Alpha – The Crusade Begins

The Crusader class is finally here. You are now able to roam the battlefield as a zealot, striking with flails in impenetrable armor. Sleeked with the glorious mission of riding Sanctuary of Hell’s monsters and devils away.

The crusader is a middle range, hybrid caster is melee, and is one of the five playable classes in the game. The other classes in the game are Barbarian, Demon Hunter Monk, and the Wizard in the Alpha. Currently, the developers are focusing on the Closed Alpha with an emphasis on only these classes. The Necromancer will be a new class coming to the game soon. The class is going to be extremely tanky, and those who have played the class advocate for its overall strength and how good it is in PvP.

Moreover, with the Crusader class coming this time, we can expect the Necromancer to be coming out relatively soon. Perhaps, with the next patch.

New Zones and Dungeons:

The journey now goes towards heights. Deep in the heart of the Tamoe Mountains, you will be presented with Mount Zavain, the home of the new monks who are extremely deadly warriors. They are also known as Goatmen or Goat Demons and are on a warpath that threatens the entire kingdom.

Your job is to repel the invasion and plunge into their home to find clues that lead to a shard of the Worldstone.

You also will be exploring the snowy wastelands of the Frozen Tunda. Just like a plague, the war moves around the mountains of Arreat, where the Lord of Destruction still exists. Currently, only the Barbarian tribes can keep the remnants of the Baal’s army at bay.

New Faction Based PvP Mode – The Cycle of Strife:

Diablo Immortal Closed Alpha – The Crusade Begins

After the shattering of the Worldstone, the conflict between the heavens and the burning hells has just been thrown out from across the world. The most elite heroes of the Realm that are sworn to protect the Sanctuary will be preventing this threat from taking over the world. Now equipped with the Eternal Crown with access to the Immortal’s Vault, there are tons of tools available for those who wish to remain eternally vigilant to defend this task.

If they do prove unworthy of their own station, the Shadows will end up taking the Immortal down and rise as the new protectors of the Sanctuary.

In the game, those with a sharp sense of survival should end up deciding their own fates. Among those who are known as Adventurers. All heroes in the game will be starting in as Adventurers. They can take on powerful daily missions and can quell the evil in the world. Once they are ready, they can take decisions to challenge their throne as a Shadow or seek out an invitation to become an Immortal.

The singular purpose of the Shadows is to make sure Immortals uphold their duties in defending the Sanctuary from the Halls. If these immortals fail in their duty and are proven to be too weak to protect the Sanctuary, the Shadows will join in instead. In the end, only the most elite defenders who are indeed worthy of the Eternal Crown end up getting it.

As a Shadow, your tasks are to advance the goal of intuiting the Rite of Exile. However, even when there is competition, the Shadow will be fighting amongst themselves to find the strongest candidates to end up taking down the Immortals. Shadows who have formed under a Single banner known as a Dark House will challenge Shadows in the other Dark House to end up qualifying for the showdown with the Immortals.

In the end, only the Dark Houses will be qualifying to participate in the Rite of Exile.

Contracts in Cycle of Strife:

The Shadows will be pursuing different themed quests known as Contracts. They end up increasing their standing and rank in the Dark Houses, which they represent. Like other activities, they will contribute to the chance to contest the reigning Immortals in Rite of Exile.

Here are all the Contracts currently available in the game:

  • Raid the Vault: Shadows will be sneaking into the Vault to try and escape with as much loot as possible. The longer players stay in the Vault, the more likely they will be to alert guardians and summon Immortal players. Shadows, however, beware. If they are alerted, Immortals can teleport into the Vault and fight in Direct PvP combat. Do note that if you are defeated, all loot that is gained from raiding the Vault is lost. To start a Raid the Vault event, a party member or Hero will need to end up having a Shard of the Living Night.

  • Path of Blood: To test their capabilities and see if they are worthy of the throne, the shadows can put themselves into short solo encounters against groups of demons and monsters in the Path of Blood. As the level of the event increases, the difficulty of the enemies increases as well. Do note that by defeating a floor in the Path of Blood, your progress ranks within the Shadows. As you get closer to your journey, you will begin claiming the Eternal Crown.

  • Assemblies: The congregation of the war against the Immortals will be beginning at specific times and days from the week. Shadows who are present in Rank Apprentice 1 or higher may end up creating a Dark House will begin Akeba's Challenge. Here, you will have to face off against three powerful Ancient Warriors. With all the Shadows working together to take away the balance of power and replacing the Immortals, the thrones will not be befitting everyone. Therefore, the top 10 Houses of Dark will be sending in a select number of champions to attempt to take down Immortals when the Rit of Exiles begins. If the Immortals are defeated, one Dark House can take up the Eternal Crown. Here is the timing for Akeba's Challenge:

  • United States: Wednesdays & Saturdays from 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Australia (Local Time): Wednesdays & Saturdays from 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

  • Rite of Exile: The Top Dark House will turn into the new Immortals during the Closed Alpha if they are proven to be victorious. When the Rite of Exile starts, Shadows that are of the strong Dark Houses will be fighting against Immortals in PvP combat. If the shadows end up winning, a new Immortal will be crowned, and thus a new cycle will begin. If the Shadows end up failing, the Immortals will end up continuing their reign.

Proving Yourself Worthy:

While there is only one Hero, the Immortal leader, who wears the Eternal Crown, they are counted amongst close allies from their own Immortals faction. After you have successfully claimed the throne and have turned into an Immortal, your goal will be to grow your Dominance as an Immortal and to end up defending your reign against Shadows and Dark Houses that do not see you worthy.

Crowns of the Immortals and the Essentia:

The Immortal Leaders who will bear the Eternal Crown will be provided with four Lieutenants who will have their own Crown. Each Crown will be provided with extraordinary power according to the level of progressions according to the reign's Dominance. However, tons of mixtures of offensive and other defensive buffs will be emanating from Legendary items, which amplify the wearer's power as well as other Immortals near them.

As an Immortal, when you end up completing tasks and daily goals, the Immortals will end up getting Essentia which is a resource to spend that enables attempts on raids like Kion's Ordeal.

King’s Ordeal: The King's Ordeal is a unique raid that is only available to the Immortal Faction. Whenever the Immortals are ready, they can spend Essentia and attempt the Raid. Only 48 players can participate at the same time with the goal of taking down all bosses in less than 30 minutes. Successfully completing the King's Ordeal will bestow players with extremely powerful loot.

However, it will also grant the Blessing of Daedessa to Immortals and the Adventurers. The buff will provide a bonus to the Elter Rifts. Do note that failing Kion's Ordeal will cost resources, and if they are not refreshed successfully before they expire, the Blessing of Daedessa will instead be provided to the shadows.

Defending the Vault: The Shadows can also try and attempt the Vault. When this ends up happening, the Immortals must be trying to rally a defense to end up defending the Vault from the ultimate incursion. If alerted to the Raid, the Immortals can show up to help the Vault Guardians and trying to stop the shadows from taking off with any valuable loot or riches. Do note that Immortals will be invulnerable for a temporary duration after they end up entering the Vault.

What are Cycles in Diablo Immortal?

Cycles in Diablo Immortals are dictated by the current seated Immortal. For example, if a Dark House ascends and ends up defeating the Immortals in the Rite of Exile, the current Cycle ends, and a new one begins. Everything connected to the Cycle resets, which includes all ranks, Eternal Crown levels, Path of Blood progress, and more.

When a Cycle ends up ending, heroes who participate will earn Deeds of Valor which are special titles that are connected to their performance in the Cycle. The previous Immortals and Lieutenants will also be engraved on the Wall of Honor, which will be a permanent place of remembrance to reflect on the group's reign. Do note that if the Immortals successfully defend the Crown, the Cycle will continue as normal.

What is the Battleground?

Before you start attempting the Cycle of Strife, the Backgrounds ends up being where all heroes will test their mettle. By going to the Immortal Overlook, heroes can end up participating in an 8v8 contest where heroes may choose to attack or defend, and they can permit the game to choose for them in exchange for better rewards.

Heroes that are on the attack will need to slay the Guardians and escort the Zealous Idols to take down the Ancient Heart, which is the source of the enemy's power. Defenders will need to end up preventing the attacking them from destroying the objective before the time ends up experiencing or by eliminating enough attackers to end up taking down the assault.

What is the Helliquary?

After you end up finishing the Main Quest in Bilefen, heroes will be reuniting with Deckard Cain in his own workshop. He will introduce you to his new Barbarian Friend, Rayoc, and an old acquaintance known as Charsi, where they have all been developing a device called the Helliquary. This allows heroes to end up fighting and locating demons and trapping them. Once these demons are defeated by the players, the Helliquary will turn their remains into power which the player can take advantage of as well.

The Helliquary will need to be leveled up to handle more Demonic Remains as you progress as a Hero. To level up in the Helliquary, you will need to earn Scoria, which is a special material that can only be refined by Charsi. Charsi will then refine Scoria into Hellfire Scoria, which is the only material used to level the device up.

As you level the machine up, you will become engrained with more power. At particular intervals in the progression of the device, you will find opportunities to confront and take down powerful demons. So, get more courageous, sharpen your weapons, potions and ready yourself.

The demon ends up getting more powerful as the Helliquary advances. The end of game system puts heroes against more dangerous bosses that require preparation accordingly and even work together as well to get over these challenges.

Do note that Scoria is a material that can only be found on the Honor Merchant as well as in Bounty Chests. Moreover, heroes will end up becoming more powerful and will also gain a Challenge Rift buff when adding Demonic Remains to the Helliquary. This buff also improves their power level upon adding Demonic Remains to the Helliquary.

What is Essence Transfer Vendor:

Diablo Immortal Closed Alpha – The Crusade Begins

Players who are visiting the city of Westmarch will end up finding Zamina, who is standing at the base of a tree. Players will seek her to customize their gear with the Essence Transfer system, which is a system inspired by Diablo 3. Players can then extract the Essence of a Legendary item which permanently adds the item to the collection.

Players can then use the Inherit option to end up transferring that Essence onto another Legendary item. Furthermore, it will also keep all its traits which also include its attributes, Magic, and other properties like rank, gems, and sockets as well. However, do not worry. This process is reversible, so you will be able to use it to customize your gear even if you do not lose anything.

LDPlayer Features for Diablo Immortal:

LDPlayer is an extremely powerful Android Emulator that is known for its perks when you play an MMORPG game like Diablo Immortal. With tons of skills available for each Hero in the game, you can change your key binds to emulate a PC experience on your Mouse and Keyboard even though it is a Mobile Game. Plus, you will enjoy yourself with the high FPS the game provides.

Conclusion:

Diablo Immortal will launch six playable classes, with the Crusader and Necromancer acting as newer additions. The game will be available as a public beta in Australia and will have a global release in the next few months or so. With the game finally approaching completion, it seems more exciting than ever!
