The Clash of Clans August 2026 season celebrates the game’s 14th anniversary with Clash of Cards, a month-long collection event built around Card Packs, Clan trading, and milestone rewards. The season also introduces Elephant Rider as a temporary troop during the Awesome Medal Event. Players can earn upgrade resources, decorations, set rewards, and the Manga Fury Prince Skin by staying active throughout August.

Clash of Cards is a collection event rather than a combat mode. Each Card Pack contains one Clash troop card. Cards do not enter your army or provide battle bonuses; they are used to complete the collection, unlock rewards, and trade with Clanmates.
How to Earn Card Packs
Card Hunt is the main source of packs. Ten packs are available when the event begins, while two additional packs can be earned per day through battles. This provides up to 68 cards from Card Hunt alone. During an eligible attack, destroy the marked building to secure the pack.

Opening 60 packs will not necessarily complete the collection because duplicates are possible and some cards are harder to obtain. Claim daily battle packs early, then use the remaining time for trades and targeted exchanges.
How Duplicate Cards and Trading Work
Your first copy of each card is protected and cannot be traded away. Additional copies become duplicates that can be exchanged with Clanmates or spent at the Trader Shop.
To request a missing card, open the collection screen and send a request to Clan Chat. A Clanmate with a duplicate can complete the trade. At the event’s release, both players must be online. Requests also have a cooldown, although Gems can skip it.

Because the game protects your final copy, you need at least three total copies before spending two duplicates. Check which collection group has the most missing cards before selecting a targeted pack.

Completing an entire card group gives an extra reward. The Elixir set grants a Rune of Elixir, the Dark Elixir set grants a Rune of Dark Elixir, the Builder Base set grants a Rune of Gold, and the Super Troop set grants a Legendary Chest.
The Clash of Cards Decoration remains in the Home Village after the event and continues to provide access to the completed collection. Trading and reward collection close on September 2 at 08:00 UTC.

Elephant Rider and the Awesome Medal Event
Elephant Rider makes its main appearance in the Awesome Medal Event from August 12–31. Players collect Card Tokens from Home Village battles, progress through the event track, earn Quest Medals, and spend them in the Trader Shop. The free reward track also contains Card Packs, making the event important for anyone still completing the collection.
An earlier Mass Troop event runs on August 9–10 and adds 50 Elephant Riders and 20 Super Valkyries to regular armies for 24 hours. This is a useful opportunity to observe Elephant Rider’s movement, targeting, durability, and interactions with defenses before using it throughout the Medal Event.
Best Way to Complete the Events
Claim the two available Card Hunt packs regularly and collect every scheduled Trader freebie. Join an active Clan before the final week because trades become increasingly important when only a few cards are missing. Save duplicates until you know which set needs the most help, then choose targeted exchanges instead of spending them randomly.
Do not use Gems to skip every trade cooldown unless the collection deadline is close. Early in the event, it is usually better to wait for more packs because the card you need may appear naturally. Targeted Trader exchanges become more valuable later, especially when one card group is much closer to completion than the others.
The August season rewards steady participation. Combining Card Hunt, Clan trading, Trader exchanges, and the Awesome Medal Event gives players the best chance of collecting all 60 cards and unlocking the Manga Fury Prince Skin before the deadline.
