Chaos Zero Nightmare Olga Build Guide: Best Cards, Partners & Team Comps

pp-jone
|2026-09-09

Olga arrives in Chaos Zero Nightmare on September 9, 2026 as an Instinct Psionic built around Fracture, Agony, Shattering, and repeated DoT activations. Rather than functioning as a conventional hypercarry, she is best understood as an offensive DoT support and secondary DPS: she increases the value of allies that already apply strong damage-over-time effects while contributing her own Fracture and Agony damage. The developers specifically describe her as a Combatant who improves allied DoT output and converts those activations into additional damage through Shattering.

How Olga's Shattering Works

Shattering is the mechanic that gives Olga her teamwide value.

Whenever a DoT on the affected target activates, Shattering deals additional Fixed Damage equal to 30% of that DoT's Damage Amount. This extra damage cannot Crit, and Shattering loses one stack at the end of each turn.

This means Olga scales especially well with teammates that can repeatedly apply and trigger powerful DoTs.

Instead of asking, “How much direct damage can Olga deal?”, the better question is:

How many strong DoT activations can this team create while Shattering is active?

That is why Fracture-focused characters are her most obvious partners.

Best Olga Cards

Olga

Break Apart & Renew

Break Apart & Renew is Olga's core engine card.

It grants either Brand of Fracture or Brand of Agony. When Olga's Fracture activates, Brand of Fracture moves Dispersed Desire into your hand and reduces its Cost. Brand of Agony does the same for Rift of Severance when Olga's Agony activates. Both Brands can stack up to three times.

The result is a loop:

Fracture activates → cheaper Dispersed Desire → Agony activates → cheaper Rift of Severance → repeat

This card should be treated as one of the highest-priority pieces of any Olga deck.

Rift of Severance

Rift of Severance costs 1 AP and deals 80% Damage, applies 2 Fracture, then activates Fracture inflicted by Olga.

It is one half of her main DoT loop and works especially well in single-target encounters.

Dispersed Desire

Dispersed Desire also costs 1 AP, deals 80% Damage, applies 4 Agony, and activates Olga's Agony on the target.

Together, Rift of Severance and Dispersed Desire continually feed Olga's Brands and Rapacity.

Insatiable Cravings

Insatiable Cravings is another major setup card.

When Fracture or Agony is activated through a Targeting Card, it adds 2 Fracture and 3 Agony to the target, up to three times per turn.

This makes Olga's normal DoT activation sequence snowball into even more DoT stacks.

End of the Line → Reckoning

This is Olga's main burst package.

End of the Line costs 1 AP and applies:

  • 2 Shattering
  • 200% Damage
  • 2 Fracture
  • 4 Agony

It then transforms into Reckoning, a 0-Cost card dealing 400% Damage. Reckoning gains +20% base Damage Amount for each Rapacity stack, activates Olga's Agony and Fracture, then returns to End of the Line.

Rapacity can reach 30 stacks, increasing whenever Fracture or Agony is applied through an ability. Using Reckoning resets it.

Do not automatically fire Reckoning the moment it appears. Build Rapacity and DoT stacks first, then use Reckoning during an important damage window.

Olga Ego Skill – Maelstrom of Oblivion

Olga's Ego Skill costs 5 EP and deals 400% Damage to all enemies.

Its damage increases according to the DoTs already activated during the current turn:

DoT Activated

Bonus Base Damage

Fracture

+50% per activation

Agony

+20% per activation

Scorched

+30% per activation

Maximum Bonus

+300%

The important takeaway is that you should trigger DoTs before using Maelstrom of Oblivion, rather than opening the turn with the Ego Skill.

Scorched also contributes to its scaling, which leaves room for future mixed-DoT compositions beyond pure Fracture teams.

Best Partners for Olga

Olga's upcoming Psionic Partner is Emilie, but Emilie's full Passive and Ego Skill are still unavailable, so she cannot yet be ranked as Olga's confirmed best Partner.

Among currently documented Psionic Partners, Bria and Anteia are the safest options.

Reassess after release

  • Bria: Bria increases ATK and grants temporary Attack Card Damage when the assigned Combatant creates cards. Since Olga's Brand engine repeatedly brings cards into her active rotation, the synergy is easy to understand.
  • Anteia: Anteia gives a broader package of ATK, HP, and Damage Amount, while also rewarding card generation. She is a safer pick when you want consistent value rather than a more aggressive setup.

For now:

Bria ≈ Anteia → Emilie pending live testing

Best Team 1 – Hilde + Arabella + Olga

This is the clearest offensive Fracture team.

The team has very direct synergy:

Hilde generates Fracture → Arabella stacks and activates it → Olga converts those activations into additional Shattering damage.

Hilde's generated Fracture cards also help keep the team cycling without spending too much AP, while Arabella provides the main Fracture pressure.

The weakness is obvious: all three slots lean heavily toward offense, so the team may be less comfortable in encounters where healing or defensive support is required.

Best Team 2 – Arabella + Olga + Mika

For harder battles, use a more balanced setup:

Mika

AP Support / Healing

Mika provides healing and additional AP support, which helps Arabella and Olga spend more actions on their actual damage engine.

Olga Gameplay Rotation

A basic Olga turn should follow this logic:

Set up Brands → apply Fracture/Agony → trigger DoTs → build Rapacity → apply Shattering → cash out with Reckoning

Do not treat Reckoning as a normal 0-Cost attack. Its value comes from entering the payoff turn with a prepared target.

Likewise, try to activate multiple DoTs before using Maelstrom of Oblivion, since its scaling depends on how many Fracture, Agony, and Scorched effects have already triggered that turn.

Final Build Advice

Olga looks designed to become one of the most important DoT enablers in Fracture teams. Her strongest confirmed cards are Break Apart & Renew, Insatiable Cravings, End of the Line/Reckoning, Rift of Severance, and Dispersed Desire.

For teams, start with: Hilde + Arabella + Olga for maximum Fracture synergy.

Use: Arabella + Olga + Mika when AP and healing matter more.

For Partners, Bria and Anteia are the safest currently documented options, while Emilie should be reassessed once her complete kit becomes available.

The main rule when playing Olga is simple: do not rush the payoff. Build Brands, DoTs, Rapacity, and Shattering first, then trigger everything together for the strongest possible burst.
