Arcana Tactics – Ultimate Character Tier List & How To Reroll Guide

The game features 139 heroes with unique illustrations and game modes like a Story Mode, Quests, Arena, and a Multiplayer arena.

General Tips For Re-Rolling in Arcana Tactics:

In Arcana Tactics, you can reroll for two different items. Cards or Heroes. Generally, we do not recommend that you reroll for heroes. Even if you reroll heroes, it is impossible for you to 5-star them even if you combine them at their grade. However, you can still get an arcade card that is at least five stars simply by rerolling.

To reroll, you need to finish the first two chapters of the game. As you start, you are unable to summon arcanas or heroes. To unlock the game mode, one must complete the first two chapters of the game. The quickest way for you to do this is to instantly get onto it and try to tap away as quickly as possible, as the first two chapters are quite easy in terms of a skill curve.

As soon as you clear chapter two, you should go for the arcana summon tutorial, which provides you with a free summon. You will then need to choose one of the two arcana cards shown to you and make a guess as to which one you want.

How to Summon Arcanas After The Tutorial:

As soon as you finish your tutorial, go to your mailbox, and claim the arcana tickets present in your inbox. You will need to watch an advertisement before you can claim those tickets. Afterward, you need to start rerolling and aim for some particular characters, which we're going to talk about below.

If by chance, you get the top-tier arcana cards, you should keep playing the game. If you want to give up and try again, then using you will need to go to the account section and tap on the reset button to confirm your data reset.

Before we get on the tier list, understanding how LDPlayer can help you with rerolling is quite important as it can make your entire ordeal with pulling summons and trying to find 5 star cards extremely simple and quick.

Complete Arcana Tactics Re-Roll Guide:

After completing the first two chapters of the game, you can start summoning your arcana cards. Make sure you look at the tier list before you decide if you want to keep the account or not.

After you have made your decision, you can keep your account or delete it. If you wish to keep it, make sure you bind your account to an email address so that you can log back into it.

If you want to reset your account, you can go to the settings option and just simply log out. You can take things to the next level if your rolls do not seem to be quick enough by using LDPlayer’s Multi-Instance feature which lets you use multiple accounts at once. Check this video to get the detailed operation!

The Advantages of LDPlayer and Re-Rolling:

While playing Arcana Tactics, rerolling is going to be an integral part of your core gameplay. As such, it can get quite time-consuming for you to keep resetting accounts over and over again. Two particular features can help you get an actual competitive edge when rerolling.

Arcana Tactics Code List and How To Redeem them on iOS and PC

Firstly, as the name suggests, multi-instance lets you play multiple open instances of Arcana Tactics at the same time, allowing you to access the game on multiple windows. While this feature enough is extremely helpful when you are rerolling, LDPlayer takes it to the next level with another feature.

The emulator's synchronizer allows you to synchronize multiple instances of the game at the same time. You can create multiple accounts on Arcana Tactics and then synchronize all of the actions you do on the primary window to all secondary ones. In essence, you can reroll multiple accounts at once, providing you with a decent advantage as compared to other players.

Comprehensive Arcana List:

Before we get into the more minute version of the Tier List. Here’s a complete list of all major arcanas currently present in the game alongside a detailed overview of their stats.

The World:

Arcana Tactics Character Tier List & Reroll Guide (Updated April 2021)

Effect: Boosts attack speed by 15% (multiplicative, base atk speed x 1.15) for the entire party.

DPS: B

Tanking: C

Utility: B

Versatility: S

Score: 9

Explanation: Arguably the most versatile card period. Attack speed means faster basic attacks, faster healing and skill usage for many heroes, and faster activation of certain passives. There are a ton of skills that read "Every # attack" or "Every attack, do X". All of those are boosted by ATK SPD.

Judgment:

Effect: Adds a 20% multiplier to HP of the entire party.

DPS: D

Tanking: S

Utility: D

Versatility: S

Score: 8

Explanation: Everybody benefits from this card. With how damage works in this game, 20% HP can be as powerful, or even more powerful than 50% PDEF/MDEF. Vampire (5 stars) has a DPS skill that scales from HP.

The Tower:

Effect: Adds 50% PDEF and MDEF (multiplicative, base pdef and mdef x 1.5) to all heroes placed in the front row (up to 4 heroes).

DPS: D

Tanking: S

Utility: D

Versatility: S

Score: 8

Explanation: Just a phenomenal tanking card. Healthy front rows mean the back row can focus on DPS. Also makes front-line DPS units more resilient.

The Star:

Arcana Tactics Character Tier List & Reroll Guide (Updated April 2021)

Effect: Adds a 25% multiplier to PATK and MATK for all heroes placed in the back row (up to 4).

DPS: S

Tanking: D

Utility: D

Versatility: S

Score: 8

Explanation: 25% PATK and MATK might not equal 25% more damage. Until we have the damage formula, I feel like PATK and MATK increase is slightly weaker than the flat damage modifier. Boost your long-range, or even front-line DPS heroes by positioning them to the back.

The Hermit:

Effect: Decrease the final damage received from monsters by 20%.

DPS: S

Tanking: D

Utility: S

Versatility: D

Score: 7

Explanation: Fantastic tanking card in Story and most PVE content, as well as Live PVP. Doesn't work in Arena.

Death:

Effect: Adds a 20% multiplier to all damage against all monsters on the map.

DPS: S

Tanking: D

Utility: S

Versatility: D

Score: 7

Explanation: There are monsters in most story maps, Dark Adventure dungeon, and in live PVP there are waves of monsters. No monsters in the arena.

Strength:

Effect: When 2/4/6 Swordsman type heroes are on the field, all Swordsman type heroes have 20/30/45% chance to Guard against basic attacks (Completely block basic attack damage and stun the attacker for a short period of time).

DPS: S

Tanking: A

Utility: B

Versatility: B

Score: 7

Explanation: Swordsmans are some of the most used tanks in our current meta, and being able to both nullify damage AND stun the attacker is a double whammy. Awesome for Lunatic, Royal Guard, Blade Singer, Death Knight.

The Fool:

Effect: Adds 12% Crit rate (additive) to entire party.

DPS: B

Tanking: D

Utility: C

Versatility: S

Score: 7

Explanation: Crit affects physical and magical damage (not heal). Its DPS rating is higher late game when you can stack the crit rate with relics and crit damage (Devil). Synergizes with Lunatic's passive.

Temperance:

Arcana Tactics Character Tier List & Reroll Guide (Updated April 2021)

Effect: Increase main stats (HP/PATK/PMATK/PDEF/MDEF) by 15% (multiplicative) for entire party on a boss wave.

DPS: B

Tanking: D

Utility: C

Versatility: S

Score: 6

Explanation: Actually very good for Story, as the boss wave is usually what halts most players from completing a stage. Your entire party becomes moderately tankier and deals more damage.

The Moon:

Effect: When 2/4 Spirit type heroes are on the field, all Spirit type heroes have 25/40% increased ATK SPD.

DPS: B

Tanking: D

Utility: C

Versatility: S

Score: 6

Explanation: Spirit-centric teams will really enjoy this card. The speed boost is immense, and Exorcist fans will love this.

Justice:

Effect: When 2/4 Spirit type heroes are on the field, all Spirit type heroes have 25/40% increased ATK SPD.

DPS: B

Tanking: C

Utility: B

Versatility: C

Score: 6

Explanation: Spirit-centric teams will really enjoy this card. The speed boost is immense, and Exorcist fans will love this.

The Hanged Man:

Effect: Start of battle: when 2/4 Rogue type heroes are on the field, all Rogue type heroes have 55/80% chance to activate Backstep after 4.5sec (jump to back of a random enemy and increase your crit rate (100%) for a short time).

DPS: B

Tanking: D

Utility: B

Versatility: C

Score: 5

Explanation: A high skill level card that comes with RNG. You could jump behind enemy tanks and get slaughtered, or behind enemy DPS and slaughter them. Needs further test to figure out Crit rate bonus duration.

The Sun:

Effect: When 2/4/6 Warrior type heroes are on the field, all Warrior type heroes have 40/65/100% chance to activate Unbending Will (heals 70% of lost hp).

DPS: D

Tanking: A

Utility: C

Versatility: C

Score: 5

Explanation: Quite a powerful card for what it’s worth.

The Chariot:

Effect: When 2/4/6 Lancer type heroes are on the field, all Lancer type heroes have 35/50/80% chance to activate Immortality upon ally death (Ignore all damage for a short time).

DPS: D

Tanking: B

Utility: B

Versatility: C

Score: 5

Explanation: This card is very specific to lancer teams, and for many, it's difficult to have more than 2 lancers on the field. The immortality effect is decent, but lancers are generally some of the first units to die and by the time the effect activates, maybe all of your lancers are dead.

The Emperor:

Effect: Reduce duration of crowd control by 35%. Excludes Airborne and Knockback.

DPS: D

Tanking: B

Utility: B

Versatility: C

Score: 5

Explanation: Includes Stuns, Silence, Fear, Freeze, Taunt and Restrain. Crowd controls have a (CC) tag.

The Hierophant:

Effect: Adds a 20% damage modifier to all physical damage against heroes.

DPS: A

Tanking: D

Utility: D

Versatility: B

Score: 5

Explanation: Made for PVP. There are also some heroes in Story.

The Empress:

Effect: Decrease the final damage received from heroes by 20%.

DPS: D

Tanking: A

Utility: D

Versatility: B

Score: 5

Explanation: Heroes exist in PVP and on some Story stages. Top tier for PVP, but not much elsewhere.

The Lovers:

Arcana Tactics Character Tier List & Reroll Guide (Updated April 2021)

Effect: Adds a 20% damage modifier to all magical damage against heroes.

DPS: A

Tanking: D

Utility: D

Versatility: B

Score: 5

Explanation: Made for PVP. There are also some heroes in Story. Wizards aren't the only source of magic damage for your information. But we’d say there are fewer magic damage options than physical.

The Devil:

Effect: Adds 100% Crit damage (additive) to entire party.

DPS: B

Tanking: D

Utility: D

Versatility: A

Score: 5

Explanation: Crit damage is really weak by itself since most units have a base 2-5% crit rate and won't be critting at all. You need to synergize with a crit rate booster like Fool or relics and ascension buffs. In the long run, Crit DMG becomes stronger.

The Magician:

Effect: When 2/4/6 Wizard type heroes are on the field, all Wizard type heroes have 30/40/80% increased MATK (multiplicative).

DPS: A

Tanking: D

Utility: D

Versatility: C

Score: 4

Explanation: Great if you prefer using Wizard-centric teams. The increase in damage is fantastic.

Wheel of Fortune:

Effect: When 2/4/6 Archer-type heroes are on the field, all Archer-type heroes have 30/40/80% increased PATK.

DPS: A

Tanking: D

Utility: D

Versatility: C

Score: 4

Explanation: Great if you prefer using Archer-centric teams. The increase in damage is fantastic. Combine with Star to slaughter your enemies. Be careful some Archers use MATK instead of PATK.

The High Priestess:

Effect: When 2/4/6 Cleric type heroes are on the field, all Cleric type heroes have 40/50/90% increased healing received and healing is done.

DPS: D

Tanking: A

Utility: D

Versatility: C

Score: 4

Explanation: For healing received, there are only two high rarity clerics that will be on the frontline: Templar (4 stars) and Dark Lord (5 stars). The boost in healing done is nice, and great if you use prefer using two Bishops or Priests.

Best PVP and PVE Characters:

Arcana Tactics features both PVP and PVE dynamics. However, surprisingly, there isn’t a lot of difference between PVP and PVE in the game as most of the time you’ll be battling characters they resemble real players in one way or the other. However, as a general list, the best Tier 1 character currently in the game is Soul Bow which makes her one of the best PVP characters in the game.

When it comes to PVE you should be picking up a Lancer or a Spirit. So, you should either be opting for Durendal or Ifrit as they are extremely strong in dealing against hordes of monsters which makes them quite overpowered.

Currently, these are the particular arcanas that you should look out for when trying to reroll. If you get any of these high-tier rolls, you should stop rolling right there and then. If you are looking for a comprehensive character guide then check out "Characters You Need To Look For".

Conclusion:

Arcana Tactics is a Gacha that still focuses on delivering players with a fun and enjoyable experience in most cases. As such, you can expect the game to only rise in popularity as time goes on, especially with its global release. With the use of LDPlayer, you can increase your chances of getting a high roll and pull quickly by using both the multi-instance and synchronization features combined. As soon as you get a good pull, you should stop rerolling and close down all instanced and play solely on that account.
