Genshin Impact - Arataki Itto Build Guide

The second half of the Genshin Impact 2.3 version has just begun. As we say goodbye to the fun 'Shadows Amidst Snowstorms' quest and the double Albedo and Eula Rerun banner, we welcome the many events and new banners coming in the next half. Two all-new characters are being introduced to the game- AratakiItto and Gorou. The geo duo complements each other perfectly, and if you want to learn how to build each, this is the perfect place. But today, we'll see how to build AratakiItto in the best possible way.

 

About Arataki Itto

---

AratakiItto is the leader of the Arataki Gang. He's a Geo Vision bearing character with claymore as his weapon of choice. AratakiItto is a descendant of the Crimson Oni, a creature that looks a lot like humans. The biggest differences are that they have horns and have a ferocious personality. He plays the role of a DPS character whose damage increases by Def scaling. Zero stamina consumption enhances the charged attack. Itto has a high Crit rate at the start of the game.

 

His bull friend, Ushi, is a Geo construct that taunts foes and gathers them for effective strikes.

Arataki Itto Skills and Abilities

Normal Attacks

 

• Normal Attack: Perform up to four strikes in a row. Itto will collect stacks of Superlative Superstrength when his second and fourth attacks hit opponents. There are a maximum of 5 stacks. The current duration of any existing stacks will be refreshed when this effect is triggered.
• Charged Attack: You can utilize AratakiKesagiri slashes without using any Stamina by repeatedly pressing when initiating a Charged Attack. 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength is consumed by each slash. Itto will unleash a tremendous strike after the final stack is consumed.
• Plunge: Plunges from mid-air to the ground, inflicting damage on all enemies in its route and causing AoE damage on impact.

 

 

Elemental Skill - Masatsu Zetsugi: Akaushi Burst!

 

Ushi, a juvenile akaushi bull and an auxiliary member of the Arataki Gang, hurls opponents, causing Geo damage. Surrounding opponents are taunted, attracting their attacks. HP is inherited as a proportion of Ushi's maximum health. When its HP is depleted, or its duration expires, it will flee.

 

Elemental Burst - Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil!

 

Itto's ATK will be increased based on his DEF. His Normal Attack SPD will also be increased. On a hit, the first and third attacks of his Normal Attack combo will grant Itto 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength. The Raging Oni King state will be cleared when he leaves the field.

 

Passive Talents

 

• Arataki Ichiban- AratakiItto gets the following benefits when he utilizes consecutive AratakiKesgiri: Each slash increases the ATK SPD of the following slash by 10%. The maximum gain in ATK SPD is 30%. Increases his resistance to interruptions significantly. These side effects will fade away if he quits slashing in a row.
• Bloodline of the Crimson Oni- The DMG of AratakiKesagiri is boosted by 35% of AratakiItto's DEF.
• Woodchuck Chucked- A party member has a 25% chance of getting an additional wood log when they use attacks to gather wood from a tree.

 

Constellations

 

• Stay Awhile And Listen Up- Itto obtains two stacks of Superlative Superstrength after using Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil. Itto will gain a stack of Superlative Superstrength every 0.5 seconds for 1.5 seconds after one second.
• Gather 'Round; It's a Brawl!- Each party member whose element is Geo will reduce the CD of Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil by 1.5 seconds and restore six energy to AratakiItto after activating it. This method can reduce CD by 4.5 seconds while restoring 18 energy.
• Horns lowered, Coming Through- Increases level of MasatsuZetsugi: Akaushi Burst! By 3, the max upgrade level is 15.
• Jailhouse Bread and Butter- For 10 seconds after the Raging Oni King state that produced Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil, Itto has finished, all party members enjoy a 20% increase in defense and attack.
• 10 Years of Hanamizaka Fame- Increases the level of Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil by 3, max upgrade level is 15.
• AratakiItto, Present!- Charged Attacks by AratakiItto enhance Crit DMG by 70%. He also has a 50% chance of not consuming stacks of Superlative Superstrength when he uses AratakiKesagiri.

Best Weapon

 

His BiS weapon "RedhornStonethresher" Claymore, which is currently available to summon for on the weapon banner, is the greatest weapon. If you don't have the primogems for him and want to opt for a 4-star option, you can go for White blind or Serpent Spine. Whiteblind has a def% sub stat, and Serpent Spine has a crit rate sub stat which both are just as good for him as a 5-star weapon.

 

 

Best Artifact Set

 

As for the artifact set, this version came out with a new domain with the perfect Artifacts for Itto- Husk of Opulent Dreams. The domain is called the Slumbering Court domain, and you can find it in Fort Hiraumi on the Serai Islands. Itto is a def-scaling character, and if you want to build him in the best way possible, I would recommend you go for a 4-piece of this set. 

 

Husk of Opulent Dreams:

 

• 2-piece effect- DEF +30%
• 4-piece effect- The on-field character's Geo damage grants +6% 

 

DEF and +6% Geo damage in stacks of one every 0.3s, for a total of four stacks. One stack is gained every three seconds when off-field. The buff loses one stack every 6 seconds if no new stacks are gained.

 

As for the stats, you will need Def, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Energy Recharge. If you're lacking Energy Recharge and have a battery character like Raiden Shogun. A mono-geo team consisting of Gorou and Albedo would also make him very viable.

AratakiItto can be built mostly as the main DPS, but he can also be built as a sub-DPS if desired. Regardless, his kit is one of the best we have seen so far, and if you're saving up to summon for him, Good luck!
