Better than MFP but extremely difficult to navigate. I've been trying to figure out how to open up the barcode scanner for 2 hours within the app but can't figure out. The online help bot is worthless and describes a older version instead of the current version and the documentation lacks and outdated too... The only way I could figure it out was to use the widget... I don't want to type or speak everything I'm eating.
So far it's extremely frustrating. If you make an err, It's either impossible or a long frustrating process to correct. I accidentally entered my weight wrong. It won't let me change it. So, my total weight loss is inaccurate every day. Many times you can't enter the correct amount of food you've eaten. Like if you only ate a Tbsp of peanut butter, it only lets you choose oz. I signed up for Pro, it's too frustrating to continue to use, so just out my money.
If I had realized how central fasting was to this app I wouldn't have bothered subscribing, it seems like a pathway directly to disordered eating. I should have done my due diligence while researching counting and activity calendar apps. The vaunted barcode scanner is missing tons of things. Be prepared to spend a lot of time paying to do data entry for yazio, at least as far as the first times you eat certain things. Theres no simple way to add home cooked foods. Or I haven't found it anyway
