Response to developers reply: did you even read my original comment? When I launch the map to display speed test results it defaults to New Jersey, I am in Texas! Have nothing to do with the server I chose for testing the speed. I understand the app is free to use, but I was speaking on the Pro (cost to remove intrusive ads). Speaking of ads, when you run about 3-5 tests back to back ads overlay the results on iOS & Android? Then you must close the ad to see the results. Annoying
Good app, but the ads are intrusive. If you don't have your volume down, every so often you get an unexpected and loud video ad that starts up. No warning! Ookla's Speedtest have lots of ads and none of them feature jump scares!
A isp provider engineer plugged my downstream cable into his device showing everything so I know what speed I got coming in. This app is best because it shows the most accurate out of any app on the market. You could lose extremely very little speed due to signal and distance and connectivity. I'm sure fibre optic or hybrid core fttp are different then a telephone cable speed. I'm very happy with my performance.
